This is the most honest review ever, I have both but will never buy Spicebomb again trying to become a millionaire and they are to close to spend a extra 80 dollars, my girl cannot tell the difference so that's good enough for me. Also my juice is white and tobacco is definitely one of the notes.

I like them both, but there is an absolute clear difference between the two. I see the Cremo as what you'd wear when you have the itch to wear Spicebomb Extreme, but the occasion doesn't call for wasting a good spray. That said, the Silver Water and Birch scent is hands down the best Cremo scent. Not even close. I'm shocked by how good all of them are though.

It's funny because I don't like the silver water and birch on me at all. This is why colognes are so fun though, everyone can have their own smell they love I mixed the spice and black vanilla with the bourbon and oak, as well as the vintage suede and it was almost a vanilla pipe tobacco smell to those fragrances. Definitely recommend giving it a try

I love both of these, but Spicebomb Extreme is probably my favorite fragrance in my collection. It's funny, the day this video came out, I wore both. I was gone all day at a function and I wore Spicebomb. And while I knew it would last a good part of the day, I also knew I would need a refresh at some point. I didn't want to take my Spicebomb bottle in the car and didn't have time to decant, so my solution was to take the Cremo in the car and used it to refresh in the afternoon. They are certainly different, but they are close enough that I knew I could layer on the Cremo over the Spicebomb and I wouldn't have them clashing with each other. That's one way I use the two fragrances, but honestly sometimes I'm either in the mood for the Cremo or I'm in the mood for that general scent and the occasion doesn't call for me to use a $100 fragrance, so my Cremo gets used a lot. I kind of conserve the sprays of my Spicebomb, especially given the rumors of discontinuation. Great video!

Great video Gerard. I just received my Cremo from Amazon today and it smells amazing. I don't own Spice Bomb Extreme so I can't compare it, but I'm very happy with the purchase. My juice is lighter and, on the box, gives a short breakdown: top-cardamon, mid- tobacco, and base- black vanilla. Thanks for turning me on to this, great pruchase!

I love mixing the spice and black vanilla with several of the other cremo fragrances. The bourbon and oak and especially the vintage suede adds almost a vanilla pipe tobacco smell when combined with the spice and black vanilla. This makes it a great fall and winter smell. Just ordered the Palo Santo and can't wait to see if they combine well It also blends insanely well with Co Bigelow black

We can't get Cremo fragrances over here so I got one of my buddies who lives in Virginia to buy a bottle of the Cremo in Walmart and ship it over to me. I made sure it was the formulation that had the vanilla - I read online about a number of people buying it which didnt seem to have vanilla. The do have two formulations. The orange colored juice has bourbon vanilla as the last note listed the clear has black Vanilla as the last note. I forgot the other two but they have different names as the notes.

Cremo is really nice. I can't speak for the newer bottles, but I have a 2020 bottle from Amazon and a 2019 from Target as a backup. On the 2 boxes, the mid notes are different (dark wood vs cashmere wood), but I have not used the backup yet to truly tell if there's any differences. Like you said in the video, the 2020 bottle I use definitely lasts, especially on clothes. If anyone likes anything sweet and spicy, it's worth picking up for sure.

I've bought and tried all 3. The oldest version, the almost cometely clear one, is the best one. It's stronger in projection and longevity by far in comparison to the other two. The one wrapped in cellophane and doesn't have "Made in the USA" on it with Kashmiri cardamom and cashmere woods on the notes is the one you want

I haven’t listened to the whole vid yet and maybe u mentioned it. It’s said that cremo vintage suede similar to tom ford ombré leather. I love ombré so I’m most definitely going to grab that v suede. Cremo Palo Santo=santal 33 and silver water and birch is or used to be close to creed sliver mountain water.

Okay, so I have the original Spice Bomb and I mostly get cardamom, black pepper, and tobacco. I bought Cremo Spice and Vanilla. With Cremo the opening is something else. You get citrus and alcohol. I was like WTF! Is this smell! It smell very fresh and aquatic; not pleasant to me. After a few minutes the alcohol and citrus dissipated. And all I could smell was cardamom, red black pepper, vanilla, tobacco, and wood. Which i really liked, and enjoyed to me it did remind me of Spice Bomb OG; mainly because of the cardamom, red black pepper, tobacco, and wood. The only difference is the vanilla scent. Which is the one on Spice Bomb Extreme. Also, to me it did not smell soapy; I applied it on my shirt.

One thing that seems to be a common thread with this scent is there are 2-3 versions of it floating around so I’m always interested in what each person gets from their bottle. Thanks for sharing!

Now, they smell mildly sweet. Like caramel and amber mixed with cardamom. Yeap, I totally smell the original Spice Bomb. And since it is a 10hr update. I don't know about other people, but I feel like it outlasted the longevity of the original. Whenever, I used the original I don't know if my nose goes numb, but I hardly smell it after a hours.

Great comparison review jus let's me knw I gotta go rack store hunting in Boston I'm sure VnR spice bomb extreme is deeper and more rich I smelled it in a Nordstrom I like it at the time wasn't crazy about the price but when I smell cremo spice black vanilla it instantly reminded me of tht scent not one of one but in the same ball park and I could afford it the price is why I ultimately went with cremo and like you said it didn't smell cheap but I'm sure if I can find spice bomb in a rack store I'd definitely cop

Do you get any Herod similarities with these 2? I think Herod smells just like Spicebomb extreme but has a little more “smoky vibe” like by the fireplace. I get horrible longevity from my Herod, but I don’t mind over spraying because I got it for a steal like you did with your Godolphin.

Spicebomb has cumin which makes the opening smell like an Indian restaurant, but it calms down after about 30 min. They don’t smell alike. Coconut???? Boozy???? 🤯 people need to watch GentSents.

I'm thinking the bottle I got is bad. I in no way get the spice bomb extreme comparison other than the vanilla and the Cremo has that hint of bug spray at the opening and is even there after the dry down. Kind of bummed because of all the good I have heard about it but Im highly disappointed at this point. Anyone else getting that bug spray smell?

That sucks Joel. I know there are different formulations floating around. It very well could be just bad. Where did you buy it? Also is the juice clear or more orange?

@@gerardgeorge It is definitely more clear than what I have seen in most reviews including yours. I got it from Walmart just today. I can't get past that hint of bug spray. I have heard others mention that smell with other fragrances but this is the first time for me. It has been more than an hour on skin and the hint of bug spray is a little weaker but still present. Big bummer for me. Thanks for getting back to me.

@@jdomacon no problem Joel. I have heard people having some issues with the clear juice but then also some saying it’s better than the orange. However the orange juice seems to be much more consistent at being good. Just FYI I got my bottle off Amazon last year.

I love Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla. Unfortunately, both times I’ve worn it my wife said I smell like I’m smoking a cigar. My 100ml bottle is now a paperweight.

is my nose broken? I don't get all the hype... Spicebomb extreme is not here in any store at all.. but I have someone that has it so I used it in neck + arms for a day I just smell cloves and maybe some spices.. but no vanilla.. comparing to wanted by night, wanted by night has a lot more vanilla and still wanted by night does not have a TON like armanu code absolu (which i dont like since i think its WAY SWEET) thats it... cloves.. wanted by night is a lot better on my nose.. also spicebomb is more than $100.. glad that I tested it else I would be a big regret please dont throw rocks on me hahahaha

Haha I would never throw rocks my friend! Scent is so subjective. Also I’ve tried things everybody loves and hated them. However there have been times where I’ve smelled something, hated it, then liked it once trying again. Just how our noses and brains work I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've had fragrances smell like that to me as well. Could be some of the authenticity of the spice. Could be more prominent to you.
