Gerber StrongArm Review.

Hello everybody thank you guys for clicking on this video I know we haven’t made a video in a while it’s been tough for our homestead family but hopefully this video will suffice today we will be doing a review on the Gerber strongman knife that I’ve had for over a year now. We will be going over the tip strength if it’s good for chopping and other things in that category over all in this video I give the knife 8.5 out of 10 I think it’s one of the better knives that I have in my collection but it does not hit all my strong points that I want in a knife.

A couple years ago a group of KZbin knife guys put the same Strongarm through a torture test. Each guy did his own thing, the knife ended up back with Gideons Tactical and I believe he was convinced to buy more Strongarms.

I have a strongarm and really like it. For me, it's an ideal all purpose knife that you can rely on when something unexpected arises in the course of going about your business whether it is in the city or out in the woods. All the criticism that I have seen about the strongarm is that it doesn't excel in a specialty like bushcrafting or game dressing....fair enough, but if I was planning on going camping, or hunting, or fishing, I probably would get a knife specifically for that purpose. I guess if I had to, I could scale and gut a fish with my strongarm...but please don't tell me the strongarm sucks because it can't bone fish as well as a fishing knife...

After buying my first brand new one for around 70 couple years ago and putting it thru and abusing it by using it for stuff it wasn't intended for I now buy everyone I see in pawn shops and sometimes new in stores if there discounted I'm a big case XX fan but my favorite full tang is the Gerber strong arm

It's not great in cutting performance or edge holding, It does resharpen easy and fast and can take a insane beating. It's cheap and it an actual utility knife that you will use. Unlike the fancy $300 survival knife no one uses because it's expensive and too fancy
