I can relate,, I never got to play the original IT but there was an amazing remake called Impressive World, it was up for a few years before shutting down and was where I made many many friends as a kid and into my early teens, the game shut down after awhile but they're actually remaking it now and its such a nostalgic moment to watch the game come back to life and progress into something amazing.

Ahhh yes!! There were so many Impressive Title remakes and revamps that were overshadowed by FeralHeart, but that I loved just as dearly as the original IT and as FH, and Impressive World was one of them for sure!!

Same! But when I was 10 Impressive Title was already shut down. I played Impressive World instead and played it for few years until I changed this server to Impressive Space(because nobody updated IW anymore). I'm still playing IS in some times to remember the childhood. But that's sad to see that usually there are barely 10 people online when used to be hundreds.

When it came to where you talked about the day IT shut down, the nostalgia was so high. I remember those days too well.

This is exactly how I felt with Feral-heart, which I joined when I was 13 in 2012, however, in 2016 or 2017 they remade Feral-heart and got rid of all of the old maps, and now all of the new maps look so close to one another, and most of the community quit. It doesn't seem that many new people are joining either since Feral-heart has had registration closed, only opening at random intervals for the lucky members who notice. The old feral-heart honestly was my life away from the real life I had, which wasn't miserable necessarily, just boring. I created my first OC on there (I was into wolves though, not lions, and to this day I still use the same OC and name on many forums and IT games I try and play) and I created a pack where there were over 100 active members in. Unfortunately, none of the IT games, nor the new version of Feral-heart can ever become a true replacement for the old FH game I loved and made lots of friends on, and unfortunately I'm no longer in touch with many of them. Although I still swing by FH and Dragons Den every once in a while for nostalgia, I never stay on longer than an hour because there's hardly anyone on anymore.

I am proud to be part of IT community too, it changed my life and exactly! The creativity - possibility to make presets, this game is what gave a huge wave to create the furry community. I found many artist friends through this game. I've always loved and admired the work of Tigg. Her videos, maps, presets of old IT. Was thinking to do this kind of video too, but actually I have no one to do this for right now. I don't have big community of fans.

God I remember IT it was so fun and it was sad when it died. But when FH was released I made sooo many friends and was apart of many big rp groups. I remember looking up to the creator of the game and wanted to be like him one day he well to put it simply crushed that dream wont go into detail. But it was awesome to be apart of it all. Years later when Dragons Den came out I fell in love with that for a while. To this day I wish I could back to those times so many good memories.

Dragon's Den is almost 10 years old and still going with it's forum and Discord presence as well. It has been continually updated by LazyZim and is amazing. All his prey are photo realistic now and as well as being canine or feline he has added Horse/Donkey/Zebra, Bear, Dragon and skeletal player characters. He has added proper day/night cycles and his prey is set to aggressive (for predators) they attack you when you come in range. Neutral (for most) they ignore you unless you attack them and Timid (they run away if you come near them). He has traps and boosts and you can have multiple pets. So you can have your own herd, pack or flock. The game is he ultimate Impressive Title Server. He has even put in a PVP map and a special DIM for RP'ers that has no prey. Sadly you rarely see the owner on his server.

It makes me cry cause I too was part of the old IT community. Then once that shut off I had to move to FH and that was my safe space from life’s hell for a few years until I found other IT servers.. I played them all! Impressive world, Dragons Den, Impressive elements, Sanctum of eventide, Impressive Realm… to name my favorites.. One by one new ones came up, had there golden years then shut down and I had to move on. Now 20 years later I still play the very few IT servers alive.. but the servers are always empty, I don’t care I play for nostalgia. I’ll never forget IT

I spent the majority of my teen years on Impressive Title, FeralHeart, and just about every other remake inbetween (including but not limited to Impressive World and Azoptaos since launch night) and I’ve gotta say I don’t think I’d be the same without their influence. I was actually one of those “Warrior Cat people” you referenced, and spent a few years managing some roleplays full-time. I miss the creativity and sheer literary genius I’d see in those roleplay groups. I always felt that the roleplays were even better than the books they were inspired by most of the time.

Thanks for the video, I'm in tears. Such sweet childhood memories, nostalgia. I have never played IT but played FH and Impressive World/Space, I recently stumbled upon one of the IT servers and did not understand how it works, I thought it was a separate game. And after the story you told, I understood everything. And yet, when you called the name "KovuLKD" my heart skipped a beat, because I didn't know that he was an IT developer, I immediately remembered FH. Even after so many years, I remember his nickname. I never got to play Impressive Title sadly, but I was apart of the Feral Heart community. I spent every second of the day On that game when I was younger, omg. It was the only thing I ever did! I found FH after playing Wolf Quest, I had heard about impressive title first but it had already been shut down. I have played on K.I.T.O Servers though, Dragons den was definitely one of them! I wish there were more fun games like these now, So simple

god, i used to play this game all the time when i was 10-12 back in around 2011-2013? i used to play on impressive title reborn, then to impressive world, and then finally sanctum of eventide. i stopped playing and soe got shut down but man that server was good. i tried to get back into dragon's den in 2017?, made some great friends! but it sizzled out for me and them eventually. this game has so many memories near and dear to my heart, i wish a great new server would come about and make it SURGE with popularity again.

Exactly my thoughts! Maaan I feel so lucky to be a part of the old IT. I miss it so much! I tried a lot of new servers including Feral Heart, however, the feelings from the old version were always much stronger. It was that phase of my life when I started drawing felines and as you said, my imagination just bursted and grew into what I am now. Dang it, I must try that Tigg's server! :) Thank you so much for this video, those memories!

I loved this! This is honestly how I feel about Feralheart because I was born quite a bit after you and when I found Feralheart IT was already closed. I made so many friends and joined so many groups and had fun on that game. I really wish I could've played IT because it was the origin of FH.

It's been about twelve years since we met, and since then we've gotten to meet in person twice. She's still one of my best and longest-standing friends! I will never truly be over IT. ;u;

You could make custom maps in IT, too, but I forget what the exact process was, besides that it involved height gradients- like black and white images, white being higher and black being darker. I made a map that was like, a cave/den for a pride, and I thought I might try roleplaying in it, because I liked RPing on forums, but I ended up not committing to it. It was a little intimidating. I didn't start RPing in MMO environments until many years later in GW2. I vaguely remember messing around in Feral Heart but not as much as I did in IT.

The end of Impressive Title's original run was not quite what it seemed on the surface. It is well known that hacking/exploits had become a major issue, of course, but Kovu was hard at work patching it, with there being an update to halt the issue with players spawning in prey that was not meant to be there and one being in progress to stop people from hacking their size, however the guy who was hosting the server--Raz, who would become infamous for similar stunts on Feral Heart--forced the game to shut down by refusing to keep running it.

I got into this game around 2007 (or 2008 maybe?) and played till it the servers were canned. I tried to get in to FH but it just didn't have the same open vibe like IT. Hey, try playing Feral Heart! It’s the exact same as Impressive Game. You can only have a wolf or lion, but with a lot of in game commands you can chance that. They have animations for sit, roll, dance... ect. You can also download fur texture packs or make ur own! Same goes with the animations, you can download packs or make your own.

Although I don't play them any more, I hope higher quality games develop with a concept like this. I can think of a few, but none of them are quite like Impressive Title servers. Honestly I had no idea how important this game would be to me, and even now I still think about it and get extremely nostalgic about it at least every couple of months. It was so simple yet it meant so much to so many of us and I miss it so much. Shortly after it closed for good I too kept up with FH but it just wasn't the same. It's still an amazing game, it just didn't hold the same feeling I suppose. I eventually slid off into World of Warcraft and have been playing that basically since I.T. closed. I definitely tried Dragon's Den as well (despite all the crashes I have with it, I still enjoy it and revisit it from time to time). SoE was a game made by the BloodStream members who I met in the original game, their original plan was to basically do the same thing Kovu did where they wanted to slowly get away from I.T. and make their own brand new game without branching off of Kovu's sourcecode. Unfortunately I don't think they ever did succeed on making a new game after their server closed (it might still be in progress? I believe it's called Isles of Eventide), their server was super fun as well, but I definitely think Dragon's Den and Tigg's server are continuing to carry the legacy onwards. Even though no server feels exactly like the original game, I am very very happy that he left behind his sourcecode so that we are able to enjoy the creations of others and see what they have created from his work. Everyone adds their own original touches to it and it's an amazing thing to see.

Hears a story: me, I was a weird as fuck child, and in kindergarten I acted like a fucking animal (not even joking). I would hiss, claw people and even bite some. But my parents were pissed and they some how fixed it. And then I joined this game called animal jam play wild, (I was like 6 or 5) and I would like play the mini games, chat, etc and then after 4-5 years I founded the furry fandom, (and no i wasn't showed the wrong side of it) I was really interested in it and decided to do farther research bout what it is bout, and then I finally joined the fandom, and I been in ever since.

I found this video after having browsed on Steam to see some knock off, crap game called "CerealSoup" (that is similar to games like Impressive Title but this one had veeeeery negative reviews). It reminded me of when I played on Dragon's Den so I went searching on YT for memories xD ... does that one even still exist? Last I recall DD got scrapped due to drama and one of the owners played victim while everyone teamed up on the other. I didn't bother to stick around to see the end of the drama, I kinda just noped out. Eventually I grew out of games like this anyway because the communities started to become more like High School (as in having cliques) as people got older. Most didn't really care to interact with people outside their friend group and mods played favorites... I was never into people who act like that. I do kinda miss DD though... Sucks that games like this either straight up end or the community no longer feels like a community.

also an IT veteran: FH was good i admit, lacked a lotta properties IT had which was sad. Map and Character making was easier in the game and without the need to wait for the staff to update the game to add your map or preset. Sucks the staff became so heartless in later years, and even Razmirz. its like George Orwell's 1984 there. "BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU" You do the smallest slip, even if its not in the rules yet, you get yeeted off the game permanently.

i would love to try out KITO and Dragons den but im scared to i tried out FH once and gave my laptop a virus and killed it. However i dont ever plan on complaining to the developer cuse i dont feel it was intentional but sadly it has made me not trust games that are on there own web sight as appose to on something like steam for example tho even some of those games i find to be scatchy like Stare Stable Online, it was doing odd things like telling me my password was always wrong when loging in and made my pc all glichy so out of fear i quicly deleted it dispite how much i was liking the game.
