Directo al gol, efectivo en sus desmarques, fuerte, como si se tratara de que en el momento de marcar fuera el minuto 90 no se lo pensaba 2 veces. Un killer de area con la porteria entre ceja y ceja. No existia nada más que el gol para el. Le daba igual como fuera el conseguirlo. Práctico al 100% sín tener una gran técnica, te lo remataba todo ni un solo gol con la mano. Su disparos y cabezazos eran auténticas bombas y también realizó vaselinas. Una bestia que parecia ser un jugador de 90 kilos y 1,85. Brutal.

Qué Killer; tantos goles desde el suelo, se ve que hacía lo que fuera para anotar un gol, y éstos se le caían de los bolsillos. De lo que poco se habla, Gerd también es conocido por hacer trabajo defensivo y presión (más que todo en el Bayern) Para mí, el más grande 9 de la historia.
