In the trailer, they use Warspite as a stand-in. But you identified the "incident" correctly. They use a lot of famous iconography surrounding Bismarck in this trailer and it's outright great. The oneshotkill, Bismarck's parting the waves into the camera, Swordfishs dropping torps and on and on. The lineup in the end is also very nice, starting with Nassau, centering on Bismarck and ending with Großer Kurfürst. I'm positively hyped. Whoever made the trailer: MAKE MORE OF THOSE:

no it's because they are german battleships. Even low in numbers every single one had a impact on the war, especially the legendary maiden voyage of the Bismarck. German battleships are what most wows players are interested in, at least on the european side. It's what people were waiting for since they knew about this game. It's like to play world of tanks to get the hands on the Tiger.

Eh I dunno about "huge impact on the war." Scharnhorst and Gneiseneu (misspelled I know it) were the only ones that got actual work done. Bismarck got a lucky hit on Hood (sinking a BB is pretty cool but that was literally all) but got wrecked immediately afterwards. Tirpitz did nothing except make the British piss their pants (even though Iowa was camping outside those fjords for a few months waiting for her which would've been a slaughter). If you wanna include the Deutschland class, they sank some shipping and that was about it (Admiral Scheer performed very well in this however). I wouldn't compare them to the Tiger. Whereas the Tiger was superior to pretty much any single tank around at the time, Bismarck (the best German BB) really wasn't. Better than most British ships, but the Americans could've countered her. And the German surface fleet performed relatively shitty in comparison to the U-Boat fleet and not even close to the successes of the Tigers, especially in the early days of the war and in terms of pure fear factor. Shipping convoys would be more afraid of U-Boats for obvious reasons

+Rafael Augusto Italian BBs are probably gonna be super tanky with smaller caliber railguns. The Italians prized muzzle velocity even if it came at the cost of accuracy and barrel life and the Littorio-class is stupid well armored with what amounts to a slab of spaced armor before a shell even hits the main belt. Seriously, it's in direct competition with Yamato and Iowa for most well armored battleship ever.

Did you know that it's theorised that the Bismarck didn't hit a turret magazine at all and actually hit the torpedo magazine (yes the hood had torpedo tubes). They believe this because where the shell reportedly hit hood was in centre mass on the deck between the rear mast and the rear funnel.

Some history here: HMS Hood had its aft magazine detonate, not the forward one, like in the video. And to all the people that keep saying its the Warspite, look at the secondary gun batteries place in crevices under the mid section of the deck. This is clearly an Admiral Class Battlecruiser. AKA: HMS Hood.

It's a queen Elizabeth class battleship, and obviously not hood or warspite. Warspite for the reason you mentioned plus the bridge shape is wrong. Hood however was longer, the rear of the ship had a very low deck, the ships fortress dominated it's midsection moreso than the QE class in the animation, Hood had 2 funnels (this has one), this ship has space for a plane (hood didn't), hood has a structure in front of the bridge which the primary range finder is mounted on, the secondaries are all wrong to be hood as are the turret shapes and their mountings. And no one knows for sure what caused hoods explosion, it's also thought that it could've hit the torpedo magazine since the shell was seen to hit the hood closer to the middle where they were stored (yes hood had torpedo tubes).

the whole video was about the Bismarck. even at the end of the video it shows it perfect in real life the Bismarck shoot at the HMS Hood and one bullet stuck the boat and blown it to bits just like in this video!!!
