Lidl are now selling imported Staropramen not uk brewed stuff. 500ml bottle at £1.79. Seems to be permanent.

My local lidl has the spaten in bottles and just across the road I can get the DAB in cans from HB! Out of the two, I prefer the DAB! As you said in the review, it has stronger flavours! The Spaten is a little light, for my taste! Both good though!

Not had Dab but spaten is great on PD. Up there with lowenbau!

Love German beer, the Swiss make some great beers like Feldschlossen, the brewery is very close to the German border.

Got an amazing deal on both these beers in a shop near me, 20 bottles of spaten for £28 and 24 cans of DAB for £21 all 500ml. I got the spaten then they ran out of DAB before I got the chance to buy it.

g'day mate , new sub im an aussie youve gotta try a beer we have out here its what we call a sour its called 'Dainted' pink lemonade flavour or as we call it the pink flamingo ..... trust me youl love it, i drink it regularly

That's a very fair point mate! Also Spaten was on keg and colder so wasn't exactly a fair battle to be perfectly honest. But a great excuse to drink two fantastic beers 🤣

Lighting certainly an improvement,should have gone for LEDs though to save boiling your nuts.The Spaten is a favourite ,never tied DAB I'll have to check it next time I'm down HB 🍻
