Ma dude, I'm so interested into a vid in which you could show us how do you get this - so sick - guitar tone/tones... if you do anything special, or different, or whatever you're using, besides the obvious guitars and DSP plugins, maybe your set-up... if you can? If you use any other plugins when you record, for compression maybe... the drums also sound ok. Any other info I would appreciate it.

French bands: -Suhnopfer -Darkenhold -Belenos -Sviatibor -Mütiilation German bands: -Horn -Nocte Obducta -The Ruins of Beverast -Lunar Aurora -Falkenbach It's close, but I think German black metal is the best in the world--Germany also has a bigger scene than the majority of other countries. The German language also just sounds better in black metal than French does.

Hard, but I think even just Katharsis, Moonblood, early Absurd, and the genius of Widar (Bilskirnir, Odelegger, Ulfhethnar, etc.) alone gives Germany the edge for me. Definitely hard to vote against the glorious Toulon Concilium though!
