I was the first US renter in this house as it was just getting finished. I bought the kitchen island, curtains, upstairs white wardrobe with mirror and contributed to the purchases of the lawnmower that is in the shed and left it there for others to use. Overall, had a very enjoyable time living there. Would love to go back and reclaim my items... just kidding 🙂

Note for any Americans heading to Germany: this IS NOT the typical home the majority of Americans will be in while stationed in Germany! This is a RARE gem...and usually only available to contractors or to soldiers who get an ETP that allows them to rent on the economy.

I wonder if the manual rolladen Shutters upstairs may be a fire code thing. Don't want to be trapped inside because you lost power to the windows. Don't know for sure, just a guess.

Ya someone else said it was that on Fb. Which makes sense, however, my shutters are automatic upstairs and they’ve definitely malfunctioned before where I can’t bring them up 😬🔥
