This is the faithful reproduction of the narrow gauge station of Mohorn (Germany) in 1:87 scale H0e.
The buildings and vehicles, locomotives and cars, as well as the operating procedures correspond as far as possible to the original. Mohorn station was on the former Wilsdruffer rail network and was in operation from 1899 to 1972. This was an important operating station on the 750 mm-gauge core line from Freital-Potschappel via Wilsdruff to Nossen. Trains to Potschappel, to Nossen and to Klingenberg-Colmnitz started and ended daily in Mohorn. That is why there was the large engine house and the extensive track facilities there. The loading points and sidings were actively used until the 1960s, mainly for agricultural products, fertilizer, building materials and coal.
