His work was ordinary farmers work, but for bulls owned by village. One day my grandmother, her father ( veteran of wwl) and the young ,Arbeitsmaid' worked on a meadow to make hay ( sidenote: german Heu and Stroh/ hay and straw/ are spoken in my dialect like a mix of english and german). Suddenly a plane came, the three hide in a group of bushes., and the plane threw two bombs. Nobody was hurt, but the Arbeitsmaid was so shocked, that she fell into the arms of my greatgrandfather and cried: Mr.... we will die! The US pilot didn' t want to kill civilians, what often happened, he threw the bombs before an emergency landing , because his plane had problems.

Until Stalingrad, the world of the "newsreel" was still real. After that, however, reality played a subordinate role. It is very difficult to wage war with the truth.

First of all, I would like to thank the people who have taken the trouble to put together all of this newsreel. But to write that this "German newsreel" is from December 31, 1945 is not funny, but rather macabre. The last German newsreel ever produced is from May 9, 1945 and it is an audio recording. The newsreel shown above is issue no. 753 and is from March 5, 1945

No, there were few operating cinemas in Germany in April-May 1945

Thanks for your replies. I asked the wrong question! When I searched "How many attended the cinema?", I got this result. web.archive.org/web/20120204111257/www.spio.de/media_content/610.pdf They show a collapse in 1945, which could hardly have passed unnoticed at the Propaganda Ministry.

Not many for sure. One of the last big budget propaganda movies (Kolberg) was released in January 1945 solely in two of the last operating movie theaters in Berlin and nowhere else in Germany as transporting film reels had become a logistical impossibility.

it´s called the "DEUTSCHE WOCHENSCHAU" - correct translated "GERMAN WEEKLY BROADCAST". As there was no TikTok, Facebook or Instagram in these days there were no "REEEEEEEELS" or such stupid (WRONG) Description. Wikipedia: The reel is a folk dance type as well as the accompanying dance tune type. Of Scottish origin, reels are also an important part of the repertoire of the fiddle traditions of the British Isles and North America.[1] In Scottish country dancing, the reel is one of the four traditional dances, the others being the jig, the strathspey and the waltz, and is also the name of a dance figure (see below). In Irish dance, a reel is any dance danced to music in reel time (see below). In Irish stepdance, the reel is danced in soft shoes and is one of the first dances taught to students. There is also a treble reel, danced in hard shoes to reel music. PLEASE USE LANGUAGE IN THE CORRECT WAY and avoid jumping on the Bandwaggon of Idiocracy from Focial Media!
@ernstraedecker61742 жыл бұрын
Idiot! A film reel is a spool to wind motion picture film on. A standard reel can contain about 10 minutes of film. In the old days film length was counted in reels. Old slapstick movies of the tens and twenties were called one-reelers or two-reelers, depending on length.
