k = 12 angle(2pi*n/6), n is element of (0, 1, ..., 5) That's the polar solution. Convert to cartesian and you get the solution in the video.

Since the exponents are the same the bases must be equal. That means k/3 = 4. Cross multiply and k=12. Since exponents are even, -12 is also valid. Tada!

@@learnmathswith_fortune Ohhh your right! I just did it in my head, forwarded the video to the end, and saw +/- 12. Lol. That'll teach me to be impatient...

I think just using de moivre would be more convenient, given that the real solutions are obvious. Greetings from Germany

"a^3 - b^3 = (a-b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)" is read as: "a cubed minus b cubed equals a minus b *TIMES* a squared plus ab plus b squared" *NOT* "a cubed minus b cubed equals a minus b *INTO* a squared plus ab plus b squared" *INTO* is NOT a mathematical operation. *TIMES* is the mathematical operation *MULTIPLY*

sir, sometimes we, the common folk, use into and times conversely in context of multiplication. Though it might seem to be conflicting with "into functions", but yep'.
