I o ttm opowiada film legendy polskie Jaga. Natomiast Baba Jaga to postać zła, brzydka, która postała w myślach i legendach kiedy chrześcijaństwo wlazło na ziemię słowiańskie i chciało zniszczyć słowiańskie wierzenia... According to legend Boruta was a strong nobleman who helped the Polish king in XIV there are different legends of how he later became the devil. But the origin of this daemon is much older - comes from a time before christianity - boruta or borowy or leszy was a daemon who protected the forests and animals. Bór in polish is an old word for a forest. You can meet him playing the witcher 3 game.

Hello Chris, I've got some funfacts for you: Jan Twardowski was actually a real historical person - he was an alchemist in times of king Sigismund I the Old, or his son's, Sigismund II Augustus (circa 1520-1560). He had some connections with king's court and Cracow's patriciate. There is some theory that he was in fact a german scholar/alchemist called Laurentius Dhur ("durrentius" in latin means "hard" and "hard" in polish is "twardy"). At that period of time many german scholars, craftsmen and businessmen were living in Cracow (where King's court had it's seat in Wawel Castle). They had really strongly co-created Kingdom's wealth and economy - for example Jan Boner (Hans Boner), Just Ludwig Decjusz (Jost Ludwig Dietz), or Johann Haller. And yes, Jan Twardowski is called "polish Faust" by our literaly scholars ;) Beste Grüße aus Krakau, Maciej (Matthias), Historiker

Hello, nice reaction. To add a little. The guy at computer is the devil named Boruta. According to other Polish legend, he belongs to Polish corner of hell. The other , bald guy also from another legend is called Rokita. The woman called here "Lucy" is Lucifer. This, I'm sure you've heard of. It looks as for the movie, they made Lucifer to be a sexy girl (BTW, at "landing scene, the actress was really nude and trembling from cold) who seems to secretly become object of Twardowsky's desire to stay with a woman (From the first part). If you search, there are at least two other films related to Twardowsky 2. One is "behind the scene" act with the actress playing Lucifer, and another is "Aleja gwiazd" - music clip of the main theme song. Greetings from Poland.

That women is definetly not Lucifer. Prince of the Hell definetly not serve as a pawn to some low-mid class devil like Borutha. Twardowski mention Mephisto in earlier film and she say that Twardowski isnt important enough for him to show up. Mephisto is lower in rank than Lucifer who is one of the four rulers of the entire Hell worldwide alongside Satan, Belial and Leviathan. She is just devil woman called Lucy.

There are also, in this cycle "Allegro. Legendy polskie", two videos with covers of songs titled: "Aleja Gwiazd - Cover. Matheo & Anna Karwan" and "Jaskółka uwięziona - Cover. The correct order of the movies is: 1. Smok, 2. Twardowsky, 3. Twardowsky 2.0, 4. Operacja Bazyliszek, 5. Jaga. You should follow that order as there are some scenario links between the movies. E.g. the sample soul loaded to the hell system in this movie comes from the 1st movie: Smok.

I love this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4SVqYd9gaioY68 Bazyliszek. The legend says that, in the past, a king of the serpents with a crown-like white spot, lived in the basement of a ruined mansion on Krzywe Koło street, near the old market square in Warsaw. The basilisk was such a ferocious beast that anyone who looked into its eyes instantly dropped dead. Many adventurers tried to face the monster, but even the bravest knights could not withstand the sight of the serpent. The old town was freed from the basilisk by a simple but clever tailor, who bravely descended to the basements armed only with a mirror. The beast looked at its awful reflection and turned to stone. The tailor saved the city and left for unknown lands. In this modern story, the Basilisk escapes from the dungeon of hell after hacking the system by Twardowski

@@chris.poland The political party "Prawo I sprawiedliwość" had done some pretty weird stuff. Like stalking opposition members using hacking software. Also, one of their MPs has been charged with abuse of power. He was chief of the CBA (Central Bureau Against Corruption). He was pardoned by the president. Their parliament mandate has been revoked and they have recently tried to barge into the parliament building (illegally). It's been ongoing since PiS lost the parliament election. They just can't cope with the loss of power, and that the skeletons in their political closet are falling out.

I dont think Poland is poorer then Germany because of the destruction by the Nazis because Germany was I think ( Im not sure) harder destroyed by the allies then Poland was. I think the time under the sowiet regime was crucial, as we have seen very well with East Germany as well (because they are economically despite soo much money from west Germany still far away from the west german level) The whole reparation thing is a thing I get annoyed about thats right, but not because of commenters like you, but because many stupid populistic commenters that pair those demands with insults. I think its understandable, that I get a bit in a defensive position there when people approach me like that. So I say my opinion now once and you or any other can link to this comment whenever the topic arrives again, because I am a bit sick of it. I have to say, I havent read books or studied it in depth I read the Wikipedia Article for once. So there may be things where I am not totally right, but to be honest, I don't really care about that topic, I just want to live in peace with my polish brothers. :) Now to the point, as far as I know from the Wikipedia Article. Germany wanted to pay Reparations to Poland but the Soviets which occupied or at least had the power over Poland at the time said: "You don't give anything to Poland, you give it to us and we distribute it fairly." I don't know what a broken Germany with a new constitution seperated in four parts could have done any better. There was no sovereign Poland and they did what they could to give it to Poland. I think Poles should go to Russia and demand their money. I also don't go to the car dealer and say give me a new car, when my car was stolen, I go to the thief. Also there were many reperations paid to individual victms as is shown in the Wikipedia article. And I am glad you point out, that Germany pays a huge part of what Poland gets from the EU, I dont know how long it would take etc. but its something, so I don't like when people come to me and say "stop crying you bastard, pay finally something". So that's my view. Will I change my opinion maybe... I dont know, will I read responses to that comment, I don't know I need some time, because I am really sick of that topic, Will I maybe delete this comment sometime in the future, maybe if it leads to more hate,. But I will tell you, what I would generally maybe could agree on. I could maybe agree on, that reparations were to low, but only if Poles acknowledge that Germany wanted to pay and DID PAY (they did pay, even if Poland didnt recieve any) and if Poles try to get there money first to get from Russia, because they (I know it was the soviet union , but lets be honest, the main guy was always russia) stole it from them. Also when Poles acknowledge that money was paid to individuums and that they finally see, that they financially benefit very much from the European Union, we don't argue about if everything is fine in the EU, but that they profit more then any other country financially is a fact. And yes the word "reparations" is censored not because I want to censor anybody, because I want to have fun reading the comments under my videos and 90% of the comments that contain "reparations" are really ruining my day and then I rather have some comments censored then always a bad mood. I hope you understand that.

Hallo Chris.

@chris.poland
@chris.poland 7 ай бұрын

@@chris.poland We handed over the management of our agriculture to the European Union, and the EU poisoned us for years. You know that recently a list of companies in Poland that sold products as Polish came to light, and it turned out that the owners are Jews who make their products from Ukrainian agriculture. So about 80-90% of products in Poland are not Polish. WE ARE TIRED OF BEING THE EU'S GUINE RABBITS 😡

@@chris.polandNormal people would get along but EU cares only about corporations. It cannot even maintain safety of food. There are no food restrictions in Ukraine. And it set a deal of import. No wonder all countries are mad. They care only about interests of agrar capital from USA that happened to buy almost all of land in Ukraine

The problem is - these are the POLISH legends so there are many scenes, behaviours, gestures, symbols and many other things which are impossible to translate. The secret is the director - Tomasz Bagiński who is well known as a video animations creator ("Cathedral" 2002). He made this time some movies wich tell the stories from Polish mythology but he shows them in contemporary or even future circumstances. Then he achieved a fantastic effect of joining the past and the future. The only problem is - if you'd like to understand all the nuances of this movie you should learn more about Polish history, culture and sense of humour.

Ending is the best. 😂 Also this part is from famous Polish comedy "how i started 2nd world war". ;)))) kzbin.info/www/bejne/i36uXputi7Gri7Msi=0Gdn2X2O5hCnLzBa

Twardowski is actually the opposite of Faust. He LIKES his powers, he has everything he ever wanted and ends up outsmarting the devil in many versions of the story. Faust wanted to live forever, while Twardowski was a folk hero, a sorcerer, an alchemist, who would perform feats of magical power and help people. He's a reverse Faust. Edit: Also, because I LOVE to point that out, a big peace of his folklore is that he once saw a painted rooster in a village (One of those traditional folk arts they paint on houses) and liked it so much he gave it life and used it as a mount.... So he's literally "Guy riding a giant cock in public" Edit2: Okay, cultural context then... Borutha is a folklore figure, one of the devils who live in Poland and not hell. He's most fond of tormenting the nobility and rich fold, therefore in those movies he's Twardowski's rival. That's one. Two, is more of a lore thing. The ships are powered by sin and saying a bad word is a tiny ammount of power, Twardowski needed to really slur to power the ship for even half a second and it is implied that the ships get passively charged around sin... In other words, in the void of space he's cut off from Humanity's hatred, wars and whatnot, therefore his fuel source.

@@chris.poland Twardowski very much liked the deal.... Just- you know, wanted to get out of paying the consequences, because he's smart. Though, yes, there are some similarities

Many chemical elements that in other European languages have some kind of -um ending, lose those endings in Polish. So instead of uranium, there is uran, helium is hel, lithium is lit, and so on. -ują is one of possible verb endings. Some verbs get it in the third person plural.

You must see "Jaga". This is the next part. Jaga's announcement was at the very end of Twardowski 2.0. Smok, Twardowski, Twrdowski 2.0 is just the beginning. Jaga is the best film in this series. Additionally, you must see their remakes of Polish music hits. This universe is at the highest level of acting, music and script.
