Se So Neon have been kicking around since about 2017, when Soyoon was a mousy, shoegaze teenager with a lo-fi indie rock sound. They've been establishing themselves as one of the top rock acts in Korea and she herself has grown into a fashion icon and rock icon. There's a bunch of band material and her solo work to go back and dig through - it's all insanely diverse, confident and distinctly unique. It's crazy to go back to footage from 6 years ago and see just how far she's grown up in that time.

the visuals in namjoon's part feel like we've managed to get to the core of her pain, the one soyoon walked us through in the first minutes leading up to her self-destruction. soyoon on the side of the car wreck before namjoon appears felt like she was saying, "it's here, the epicentre, the locus of my trauma." then namjoon starts with his verse while sitting on the wreckage, literally saying "what are you doing here, this is my place" giving the feeling that he belongs there and he is in control. i've been listening to this song since release, and i've thought about this only now after watching your reaction. :D
