How safe is Poland actually? Well I live in a city of over 200 thousand citizens. You can go by public transport alone to basically any district in my city, walk there at midnight and nothing bad will happen. Having visited for example Paris and Lyon, I think it speaks for itself.

Poland is, of course, a very safe country to live and travel in. There have been no "gang wars" in Poland since the late 1990s. Organized crime exists, of course, but it mainly deals with smuggling, drugs and white-collar crime. It is difficult to find cases of robberies, kidnappings for ransom, racketeering, etc. in this century. There is more danger on the roads because the number of accidents and deaths on the roads is far too high. When it comes to war, everyone in Poland has the thought of such an eventuality in the back of their minds, but until it becomes a tangible threat, everyone lives their own lives and worries about their own affairs first.

Rok 99 byłem świadkiem jak dwóch (jak się później okazało z mafii pruszkowskiej) wpadło do sklepu wielkopowierzchniowego w którym pracowałem bo dostali cynk ze jeden z pracowników zna gościa którego szukali. Ochrona (było ich 6) która na co dzień zadzierała nosa względem pracowników, pochowała się po katach. Panowie zapytali się kasjerki o kolesia, a potem ostro nie patrząc na otoczenie przystąpili do czynności. Jeden osiłek z tępym wyrazem twarzy prał delikwenta, a drugi niski chudy niepozorny wydawał polecenia. Wszyscy włącznie ze mną stali w przerażeniu, akcja była tak intensywna i brutalna że wszyscy byli sparaliżowani nikt nie wydal żadnego dźwięku oprócz wykonawców i ofiary.

"number of accidents and deaths on the roads is far too high" Not true! Number of "accidents" PER CAPITA is almost lowest in EU and in the world! Just lots of them ends with death coz of old cars! Road accident with serious injury is FIVE TIMES more probable in Germany or France than in Poland!

@@damianboj3809you've got some wrong numbers my friend. Just take the official statical data published by the government and compere it, not some TikTok bs. Statistically it is 2 times more probable to die in traffic a accident (this counts car drivers, passengers, cyclist, pedestrians etc) in Poland as in Germany. The polish attitude and culture on the road is getting better and better every year. But is is still terrible and it is shocking me every time I cross the boarder.

Chris, you are actually wrong, there is just aprox. 4 km between Russia and the US state of Alaska. So Russia is closer to the US than to Germany. There is actually this wiered/funny time zone thing you can find more about it online. Greetings

You said Russia is VERY far away from America - keep in mind that you can litterally WALK from Russia to Alaska if the winter is cold enough for the passage to freeze over. Russia is VERY close to America, you just need to look from the other side ;)

My French teacher tells me that when she was working in a cafe in Krakow 30 years ago during her studies, she often encountered violent fans of two Krakow football clubs (Wisła Kraków and Cracovia). She mentioned the situation she saw from the window at her work. When both clubs played against each other, there was a lot of police in the city and yet they could not stop the aggressive fans. In the market square, a couple, a boy and a girl, twenty years old, were sitting on a bench when a large, muscular Wisła Kraków fan approached them. He raised his fan scarf above his head and shouted: WISŁA! and kicked them so hard that they both fell off the bench, then he walked away as if nothing had happened. Krakow has really changed over the years.

Ishowspeed- famous streamer came to Poland 2 days ago and had nice conversation with many people, hugs, normal and cultural behavior for the guest. Yesterday he arrives in Norway. There he was many times attacked, people was throwing things in him, they pulled his hair and even after the meeting with the Norwegians, he has a damaged leg. So normally I thought that many Poles were seriously racists, homophobes, etc., but it turns out that I can think about my compatriots with pride, because they don't behave like animals in Norway.

I like to travel, I like to visit new countries, I also like Germany (my polish aunt is married for 30 years with German man so I have German uncle 😄) but still considering places to live I am glad that I am where I am daily. Poland is comfortable place to live for daily base.

Został zabity polski żołnierz właśnie na granicy polsko- białoruskiej przez emigranta. Miał jedynie 21 lat Granicę można przekroczyć legalnie . Nie ma mojej zgoddy na naruszanie granic żadnego kraju a szczególnie Polski ponieważ jestem Polką. Nie popieram awantur w moim kraju robionych przez uchodźców z innych krajów którzy współpracując ze służbami białoruskimi atakują moich rodaków. Przypominam że to Polska pod swój dach przyjeła 3 miliony Ukraińców. Oni w przeciwieństwie do innych nie koczowali po stronie Białorusi i nie robili awantur atakując służby mundurowe

Regarding the proximity of Russia vs. US, it is extremely close to each other, just look at the eastern borders of russia, how close to the US it is (4km and when it freeze you can just walk from 1 island to another)

Honestly, when you would like to compare safety between Germany vs Poland it's like to compare Afghanistan or Yemen with Andora or Iceland. 😆 However due to the fact that we have millions of Ukrainian refugees/ intruders and Germany push through the border thousands of "Merkel's guests" to Poland, it can change briefly, unfortunately. 😏

Ofc Polonia is safer then Germany. Germany got tons of blacks/arabs and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why the difference is so extreme. Last time I was in Germany I wanted to eat German food but found no place. All you got there are Indian, black, arab etc places.
