If I had 9 puppies like this it would have to be my livelihood. No way I could leave the house and spend 9-12 hours at work knowing these precious fur babies were home without me. 12:20 is the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen. So pure and natural.

Yeah I had to jump forward. And watching her with a bowl food of food while nursing was great but I had to think on the moms in nature and reality of the streets too. I can never just enjoy a simple thing! It gets all complicated and how these puppies manage to get in the right homes when I see so many failed German Shepherds being placed to more experienced homes….hopefully ugh

I brought my GSD home at 8 weeks…she was 1 of 13… I picked her out because she was playing with the water bowel with her brother. And ignoring the other puppies begging for attention…she had spunk… she is a long haired German shepherd… show breed… 8 years old now and I walk her twice a day for 30 mins to get rid of her high energy. Comes to work with me… goes everywhere with me… thank you for reminding me of her little cries as a puppy…

Reminds me of the days before I was able to get my Jessie fixed. Nothing like come home to a room full of puppies after a day of work. Of course, I had to spend about an hour cleaning and sanitizing their room, but after that... PUPPY TIME!

Man I could never have my GSD give birth. And to all those puppies! I would be mortified watching her panting then giving birth. I’m a whimp! She’s safe and spayed. Even though they are the cutest puppies in the world!

Ikr. I have the same concerns but not breeding them is very likely to do hormonal imbalances which on long run becomes threat to Breasts & Genital Tumours & Cancers.

4 weeks is too early to take a pup from his/her mother and siblings. Look up “ 5 week old puppy syndrome. Pups ought be at least 8 weeks old before they are taken from their mom.

@@ariellopez54, I use a grain-free kibble that lists the meat as the top ingredient because I don’t want a lot of fillers. (Zignature brand) Canidae brand is fine. I recommend going to a good pet store (not a chain like Petmart) and talking to them. (If you were rich you might feed your dog raw meat but I never have.) Whatever you do, DON’T let your German Shepherd puppy jump because he could end up with hip problems later in his life. German Shepherd Man on KZbin has some good videos. God bless and congratulations on getting a German Shepherd dog! If you haven’t done it yet and you are planning on it I would wait to get him neutered until he’s a little older and his hormones have come in.)

I love you teaching them to find you and follow you wherever! I've had many wonderful G.S. dongs and the early training you are doing make it all go so much better for them as well as for me.
