Truly enjoying the tutorial. I learn a lot by seeing what's going on, so the contrast yarn was super helpful! Thank you!

Have you done a tutorial about how to do German short rows in ribbing?
@susan-cc1nx9 ай бұрын
Can you explain how to do this with a pattern that calls for just short rows
@ThisIsKnit_Ireland9 ай бұрын
Would you have an example of the type of pattern you mean? The method should remain the same really, even if the context differs. E.g. German Short Rows are recommended for the Rhinebeck Hat by Woolly Wormhead, but they are used for a very different reason (part decorative and part for shaping the crown of the hat)

I had a gap on each side when I tried this! How can I avoid the gap?
@ThisIsKnit_Ireland8 ай бұрын
the gap there means that you need to look at the way you are resolving the double stitch. (it is hard to tell without being able to see your work, so I hope this helps!)

Excellent tutorial, thank you. 🩷 I'm watching on my phone with it 3 inches from my nose. I can't get the vid to flip to landscape. Is it just me?
@ThisIsKnit_Ireland8 ай бұрын
thank you, that does feel a bit odd... it usually is a setting in your phone.
