The bunde sieger show is the pinnacle GSD breed show in the world. If someone wants to compete at the sieger show, it's up to the owner of the dog to prepare the dog for the show. I firmly believe the best of the best has to be represented there. To maintain this high standard we need everyone to firstly know the standard required, secondly understand what is required to prepare to qualify and secondly compete. If a dogs parents and or grand parents have not been breed surveyed, understandabily such a dog should not be eligible for a VA rating. A VA rating has to represent the the entire breed standard, pheno type, geno type, working ability and civil ability. Striving for the impossible is the only way. Secondly I was very disappointed at the performance level of the courage test. It was very poor in general.
