German Steam Loco Class 52 - Turkey 2012 - Euphrat Part 1

The Deutsche Reichsbahn's Class 52 was a German steam locomotive built in large numbers during the Second World War. Some of them remain in Turkey.

In summer 2012 a train organized by railfans heads east Divrigi along the Euphrat river. This was one of the last chances to see the old track - the untouched nature. Several dams for electricity plants will flood the valley.

The point of a whistle is technically to be as hideous as possible as a way to warn anyone near the tracks. This whistle is simply weak.

They used a DE 24000 class diesel locomotive for that movie.
