Mexico played more and better than Deutschland or die Mannschaft but the unfortunate action from a defender was their grave. Luis Hernández was a fantastic forward thanks to him the mexicans achieved the qualifycation ro the round of 16 with his goal against Holland in the extra time of the third match. In this match against Germany he scored a great goal.

Actually, Germany would have proceeded to the final with any other team than Croatia in the quarter finals. There will never be a team as with Klinsmann and Matthäus.

That's the way the Germans use to play, you can play all over them and they would still beat you, they were the onky team that woukd have beaten France in that tournament but the ref gave worns a red card against Croatia and that was the end.
