Germany 2023 Part 18: Rothenburg

On our third day in Bamberg, Anthony and I hopped a Regio and headed off to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the most famous tourist destinations in Germany. It is a beautiful town with a large old city set in the 16th and 17th centuries, and a medieval fortress wall still surrounding the town.
It was a bit crowded, of course, but we had a nice day, tired as we were. We did decide this was our last "day trip" as we were just too worn out with crowds and the hassles. We would choose to spend our last couple of days in Bamberg relaxing and enjoying this beautiful town until we headed back to Frankfurt to leave for home.

Hello Joyce, another pretty town with a mix of everything, beautiful buildings and green spaces. I read in your description that it was a bit busy however, it did not seem so, of course we didn't see the entire day as Anthony videoed it, but it still made a great video. Again many thanks for sharing your trip with us :) :) :)

It felt busy, but it certainly was not at the height of a weekend or holiday. There were college international kids performing so there was a lot of family milling around. Thanks for watching, Colin.
