Young German team of 2010 and 2012 was very exciting to watch and each game was masterful attack after attack. Then in 2014 forward, the coach decided to move Ozil from his pivotal position and rendering him invisible in the game, and although in 2014 and 2016 they were still very strong, the net effect afterwards was the decline of the team.

Germany were incredibly strong in 2012. That Greece match was the 15th victory in an official match in a row, which, I believe, is still a world record. They faced a group of death if there ever was one with Portugal, the Netherlands and Denmark, and won all three matches. They had enough talent to easily fill two teams and still be competitive. Their football was so nice to watch. Practically every player was capable of scoring from anywhere at any given time (like in this case Lahm and Khedira). Too bad they grew over-confident after this match and would lose to Italy in the next one. It was their only defeat in 35 official matches between 2010 and 2014, winning 32 of them.

Spain vs Germany could've potentially been the best Euro final ever, it really should've been the final as Spain vs Italy was one of the most one-sided games there's been.

But not against Germany! You can clearly see the dominance of Germany, how many goal scoring opportunities they had ! Greece maybe had the potenzial for this tournemant but against Germay they were on the loosing side! Dos Santos no matter which nation he trained in football, he mosly always choked against Germany! He was also trainer of Portugal and you all know how the games against Germany ended at WC or EC !

It's a terrible sport in that case... I remember watching that game live though on TV. Greece just puts 7 players in the penalty box and hopes they can maybe get to penalties or even a counter attack. Even if they won every game, they would still be a garbage team

Lembro dessa Eurocopa 2012 tinha 13 anos de idade tinha grandes seleções a Alemanha esse tempo era muito forte a base dessa seleção ganhou a copa do mundo aqui no Brasil nos Brasileiros não temos rancor até porque em 2002 o Brasil ganhou da Alemanha e ganhou a copa do mundo então estamos empatados

Essa Alemanha de 2010 a 2014 era muito forte e muito competitiva, só a Espanha e a Itália conseguiram parar eles, eles seriam campeões da Copa 2010, Euro 2012 e da Copa 2014, tinham jogadores bons em todas as posições, não é a toa que foi a melhor seleção do mundo nessa época atrás da Espanha.

Germany were incredibly good but had a bad game against Italy. Goals of Khedira and Reus.... pure class Spain were again at the top of their game. Italy had a tough game against Germany, missed loads of chances and were tired out for the final. The Group of Death saw Germany play really well.
