What did they expect? Steve clarke is a dinosaur manager who's teams play dinosaur football. You have to feel sorry for scotland's brilliant supporters who travelled to germany in their thousands to watch that dross.

Anyone underestimating Hungary is mad. I think there’s a real chance Scotland will lose all 3 matches and lose them heavily. Their confidence will be destroyed now.

I'm German and I'm terrified of Hungary especially considering our last 3 matches against them were two draws and one loss. Kroos also said in his post-match interview that Hungary are at least one league above Scotland in quality so I would actually be okay with a draw.

Agreed. Before the last two friendlies I actually thought Scotland could sneak a point off of Germany but my god, what was I thinking 😂 Scotland could end up with the worst performance ever in a euros.

@@iainsutherland1113They are not worse than Ireland in 2012, to be fair. Hungary were beaten by Ireland last week and didn’t look any great shakes, but hard to judge the last friendly before a major tournament, people are always minding themselves.

Clarke should have had someone marking out Kroos. Also, Scotland was not pressuring Germany and winning transitions. Therefore no opportunity to win counters

Graeme Souness said it perfectly - “I don’t know if Germany are any good as Scotland were so bad”! As a (non-deluded) Scotland fan I’m honestly not surprised by this result. Clarke doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing and his selection of a guy like Porteous just sums him up. The plan is still on course but all they had to do was NOT get hammered and they’ve blown that part already. The Swiss and the Hungarians have just had a massive boost! They will fancy themselves against us even more than they did before last night. I never expected us to beat Germany but I didn’t think we’d embarrass ourselves in the way we did. -4 after one game.

I’m happy we won🇩🇪Scotland had always teams who gave everything & were fighting hard..but I’m sorry it’s not much quality in the team..I mean no ball on target says a lot...

Too many one team orientated players in our team Ralston was dreadful mcgregor and Mcginn were outclassed. The Celtic captain should stick to playing against the likes of Motherwell Livingston Dundee Ross county etc etc.
