Hi Box2Box Mats here,I love your channel and watch everything.I just stayed up to 2 am to watch the canada game. I was very excited to see them in copa america especially after hearing ur guyses opinions and seeing some of the teams the players play for. Despite that i was EXTREMELY disappointed up until that red card and even after that red card it seemed like most of the players only had 1 attribute (mostly pace) I would love ti hear ur opinion on in its a waste of potential player davies as a left back and if Canada could pull a win against an opponent that doesn’t give then that much space (there unfathomable space after the 70-80 minute. I feel like Barella has the potential to be a LEGEND of this sport! The way he plays is so enticing but is a bit aggressive which kinda reminds me of your younger Ruud Gullits ( this is in no way a comparison to Gullit btw). The Italy development issue happened because all Italian teams saw how well Barca was doing with La Masia and decided to teach kids from a young age how to play tactically instead of teaching them how to play ball. Also there is too much focus on youth teams to win trophies when they should focus on developing their skills.

I think the problem w the lack of Italian attackers is directly correlated to the downfall for Serie A. Also the fact that typically Serie A has fewer goals per match (along w La Liga) shows that the attacker is less likely to score bc of the defensive structure and quality of defenders in the league. Usually games in these 2 leagues are more contested with teams choosing to play with mid / low block systems.
