Germany - Erwin Hymer Motor Home Museum at Bad Waldsee

The Erwin Hymer Museum, nestled in the heart of Bad Waldsee, Germany, stands as a testament to innovation and adventure in the realm of recreational vehicles.
Located in the birthplace of the Hymer brand, the museum offers visitors a captivating journey through the history of mobile travel.
Opening its doors from Tuesday to Sunday, visitors can explore the museum's exhibits from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, immersing themselves in a world where the spirit of exploration knows no bounds.
With its diverse collection of RVs, campers, and motorhomes spanning decades, the museum showcases the evolution of travel and the pioneering spirit of Erwin Hymer.
Admission prices for Adults are around 14 Euros, Children and teens up to 18 years receive free admission.
Rob and Krys Henshaw, an Australian couple, created Aussie European Tour, a KZbin Video channel and website (www.aussieeuropeantour.com) to record the various tours and holidays they have enjoyed over the years.
As well as documenting the travels for their own benefit they hope they can pass some tips and advice to other travellers.

Visited this years ago and it was wonderful! Was surprised to see a Centurion tank and a Ford Edsel. I was quite familiar with the Centurion at the time! A worthwhile museum to visit and recall 50’s youth and after! Would have liked to fire up the Cent that would have been fun!
