Well the voting was for it to get tested by us, I would like to see how it would work before adding the changes to the game. If they really add this they'd have to do a lot of rebalancing and change BRs (ideally at least move top BRs up to 12.7 or 13.7 to decompress the entire thing) but we already know they probably wouldn't do a good job at that

The jumbo shoul've already been 5.3, there are good number of 4.3 vehicles that can pen the front plate of it let alone shooting the mg port. As you stated, getting uptiered to 6.7 is way too common and a death sentence for the 75mm

I voted no, and thankfully it seems a majority are too. This has potential to ruin the BRs that are actually still fun. This change seems to favor newest players that dont know weak spots on tanks, and punish the hell out of us that do. After playing the game for 11 ish + years I'd rather they not go make a huge change where its really not needed. I've never had a problem with the way APHE works. To me, it rewards good play. If the argument is to nerf it to bring it on the level of solid shot / apds / apcr, here's an absolutely outlandish idea...... buff them instead! They're miserable to use most of the time, why make everything that way.

There are no fun BRs, and it makes nations like France and Britain suffer because they used mostly AP irl, wanna know why? BECAUSE IT WAS BETTER THAN APHE, they did just about the same damage. The only tanks that it would really buff are the tiger E and Tiger H1

I'm just excited as a British main that our lower-mid tier tanks won't be underpowered for once. Nothing is more infuriating than having to pen other tanks multiple times with solid shot to get a kill while every other tank from the big three nations can just oneshot with APHE every time

The people who voted no to the change are probably 75% Russian mains and 25% people who don’t trust Gaijin to rebalance some low tiers Edit: I have to disagree with “you should have to flank heavy tanks.” Every tank should be able to be penned through a weakspot by every tank of a reasonable caliber (so no 20mm or anything)

I don't think it's a good idea to rework something that doesn't need it and that has been around for decades. The truth is that people are afraid that gaijin will screw up, I'm sure at least 60% of the players are.Instead of changing mechanics that are already good, they should work on really important things like expanding the br and fixing bugs with ghost shots or planes that look like they're made of wood.

I'm not saying this in a bad way or in a hateful way, just tell me why you think it needs a rebalance, I'm a German main, and although i benefit from the change, I don't feel it's very necessary, honestly, I don't know how tere must have been shots of this type in real life, I would like them to be like in real life, but I think that if it is not known exactly how they were, although I suppose that each of these had the TNT distributed differently in the projectile, I would like it to depend more on the impact of the explosion, depending on things like the angle or the thickness of the armor.

@@FRYGHTER in real life APHE was barely better than AP in terms of fragment generation, and for some rounds it was actually worse. For instance, the 17 pounder solid shot should be better than a lot of the low tier Soviet APHE rounds

Heres a argument for your Jumbo problem. Check out the Churchill mk7. It has 103mm of flat pen and no HE filler. And you see tigers and panthers however you can not cupoler shot them. So what do we churchill owners do? Use skill. Barrel, track and flank. Or avoid. Also! If your in the tiger 1! And you see a IS2? Well what do you do? Cupula shot. Everyone who uses aphe will suffer from this. But it will make a much better playing field for solid shot users. Im sorry by the argument that the aphe changes will be bad, are from people who dont have to struggle with solid shot. Of who, can not do this trick shots. If you think this is bad? Try the "shell shattered" mechanic.

Don't agree that Americans have the worst guns at around this br. the 90mm on the Jackson is better than probably any tank around its br that isn't a casemate. the 76mm is verrry comparable to the 85mm found on russian tanks. the longer 90mm is comparable to the long 88 in terms of pen and spall, the 120mm is a great gun that spalls very nicely. I don't know why you think they have the worst guns... Like you could be pedantic and argue that the 85mm is better than the 76mm but ill argue other wise. I'd much rather have nearly the same one shot potential with shooting tanks form the side, with a 2 second better reload and a stabilizer. Nah... just don't think American's having the worst guns is true in anyway. Not German tier but neither is anybody else but Germany.

You know the Italian tech tree I’m currently grinding it and the only real vehicle which you find fun in is the P 20 the only vehicle which I have managed to get 10 kills with one match without dying. I’m gonna be able to survive but better with it if they somehow penetrate my front arm and I’m not gonna get instantly killed if they shoot my turret. Good for me. and the other nation I mean is Britain but most of my vehicles there and use solid shots so it doesn’t make a difference

This front problem occurs with the is4, the object 268 and the t29 against 6.7 tanks, few or no pen on anyplace. The jumbo is not the only tank with this problem.
