Was stationed there in the early 70s in the Kaserne. Married a girl from nearby Aach Linz. Thank you for sharing this tour.

I was stationed there from 11/74 to 9/77, working at the radio statione but my best friend was artillery at the det. I lived off base on Sechslindensteige and met my future wife there. I've been back many times and love to see how it's grown. For awhile the man who was to become my father-in-law was either the top or near the top German NCO on base. My ex, daughter and now little granddaughter live in Munich (been there the past 3 Octobers) but I actually like Pfullendorf better. So many great memories there.

Some interesting background music. I admire the craftsmanship on the street sign. What type of a carving was attached to a tree?

At what minute did you see the carving?
