@Yt user rink and kuranyi, like millions of Brazilians, have German background. I don't know if it's also Cacau's case, even though racial admixture here has always been very strong.

Like the US, Brazil has a strong racial hierarchy. Anyways, Paulo Rink was not that good or effective of a player to be on the German team. However, Ribbeck’s team selections had to be the worst of recent memory.
