And again: the question is WHY CHRISTMAS MARKETS NEED SECURITY ON THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?

Because of terrorist attacks. In india there is high level security during Indian festivals for the same reason.Thats why there are less terrorist attack in India.

Every public event requires significant security in western nations thanks to the decisions made by politicians in those countries. Funny how you never see heavy security in nations like Japan and South Korea. Gee I wonder why? 🤔🤔🤔

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit and experience the magical Christmas Markets in Cologne and Aachen. The atmosphere was filled with harmony, happiness, and pure joy as I spent an unforgettable time with my colleagues. The twinkling lights, the festive scents, and the shared laughter created moments that I will cherish forever. It’s heartbreaking to think that such a joyful and peaceful time could be overshadowed or destroyed by someone who believes they have the right to inflict harm and take the lives of innocent people in such a barbaric way. These markets symbolize community, togetherness, and the simple joys of life - values that should never be tarnished by acts of violence or hatred.May we continue to stand for peace, kindness, and the spirit of unity, ensuring that such cherished traditions remain a beacon of light even in challenging times. My thoughts and prays for the people lost ..

The harder it is for the state to "find answers", the stronger the far right gets. Because for most people this is arguably not a complex problem to understand: Again, there is an attack from someone who wouldn't have been there if Germany didn't import the middle east. I'm just being honest here. I find it truly sad how this entire incident is getting mishandled again, so close to the elections, because I personally would like to see a strong center force, not far right.
@xijinpingpong44263 сағат бұрын
The police should end this speculations by starting an investigation were they look at the actions of the attacker and talk to people who knew him personally. He posted all kinds of stuff online, one time he was pro XY and the next time against XY. Taking his online posts serious is absolute stup*dity.

its silly that nowadays we need SECURITY for festive celebrations? so what about HALLOWEEN, ppl come dress as Grim Reaper or Vampire, so do police officer need to stop to check to see if they are just cosplaying or terrorists dressed as Grim Reapers? What if the terrorist dress up as Santa Claus? and carry a big Bag and say Ho Ho Ho, do the police say "FREEZE, and hold up your hands and whats in ur bag?" do Santa have to put the police on his naughty list then?
