Shanghai Pudong Airport purchased this train and has been operating it at a speed of 430 kilometers per hour until now. It has really continued. Why did Germany abandon it? It only takes 7 minutes from Shanghai Airport to 30 kilometers from the city. Isn’t such a good thing going to continue?

If it's such a good technology, then why didn't China continue to expand their transrapid network? Because it's just too expensive. Instead China built a huge network of conventional high-speed railway lines.

Transrapid easily carry medium weight freight. Each car have a maximum brute mass of about 100 tons, while transporting cargo thenspeed would typically be limited to 250km/h Its rather high speed rail track that have issuse carrying freight. The HS1 line in uk have a speally adopted train for freight. The claim that transrapid track is expensive have to be taken into comparison to high speed track
