Came across this video. I live in Germany . Moved a year ago for a job. You said everything correct except one thing that it’s difficult to learn German. If you had come here and learnt German , it would be very easy as compared to learn German from India. You just need to join classes and practice as much as you can . You get lot of option to practice Deutsche here. Getting English job is little difficult but not impossible.

Germany used to be the top dog in EU. Now Germany and Netherland are both in recession. Germany lost its winning edge: cheap gas from Russia. Many German companies are moving out of Germany to survive. Good luck in surviving the upcoming winter.

Great comparison. Germany is better except for pr. European countries generally have better work life balance than north american ones. The biggest factor is pr. If pr procedure was easy in all countries, my choice would be Scandinavian countries ( Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland). They are much better in a lot of ways like work life balance and stuff

1:07 Sure majorly German unis me fees nahi hota but the state of Baden Wuerttemberg (BW) applies tuition fees for international students. Mene Tuebingen se master's kiya tha, I used to pay 1500 euros per semester for tuition fees and 150 euros for miscellaneous. Although dormitory was super cheap compared to residences in Canadian Unis... Aur public transportation was good enough, Canada is very car dependant country.... Also BW state me there are many well-reputated univerities like Heidelberg Uni (one of the oldest university in Germany, 1300s me bana tha), Tuebingen Uni (1477 year me), Freiburg Uni, Mainz (JGU), Karlsruhe (KIT), Stuttgart.... ye saare uni top 10 list me rehte hai QS ya THE ke polls me... I did only A2 German and I survived for 3 years there, but surely if you want to get into the culture and make German friends then you need German language, other than that you can get by since many Germans speak English as well (or atleast where I was) Ab Carleton University me hu and prices here are ridiculous...

Loaction 7:56 PR milne ke baad a PR holder must stay in Canada collectively for at least 1095 days (1095 days/365=3 years). Mere bhai it's not 2 years, it's 3 years after one obtains their Permanent Residecy in Canada. Galat information to naa dein please. Rahi strong passport ki baat to as you mentioned, Germany definitely wins. According to the Henley Passport Index 2023, a German citizen can travel to 191 countries visa-free or visa on arrival, whereas a Canadian citizen can travel only to 186 countries visa-free or visa on arrival. Indians can travel to 60 countries visa-free or visa on arrival, Bangladesh = 40, Nepal = 37, Pakistan = 32 and Afghanistan is 27. 🙏

Throughout the video, i was wondering why did you went to Canada but got the answer. You are incorrect in saying that one must know B1 German language skills before coming to Germany. I have been living in Germany for last 10 years, and did not learn German when I came here. Because the whole University studies and environment is in English in Masters. But yes, learning the language really helps integrating into the society. And once a student or someone doing a job comes here, they can start learning at their own pace.

Language is a major barrier not only in Germany but overall Europe otherwise countries like Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, The Netherlands are way way better than North America. Btw, it isn't that difficult to get PR or citizenship in Germany if you pass the required language test...and so is the case with Finland too. However it is difficult to get a citizenship in Norway.

Everything is correct, except the language part in Germany. First, language is not a big problem, since you can get away by speaking English in metropolitans. Second, it's wayyyy easier to learn the language efficiently in Germany itself. SO having lived in Germany for almost 10 years now, I don't think language is that big an issue.

@@KhushiSingh-rk5iq so honestly speaking Germany is very safe country I usually came from work at 12 or 2 am. Secondly, you can find part time job , in big cities there is less language barrier but in smaller city's there is language barrier so try to get into big cities like Berlin Munich Frankfurt etc. you can find job easily. Thirdly, Germany is basically for engineering and IT. As you are from humanities , I recommend you to take field like business and management. You can get admission into public university

The economy of countries cannot be compared by looking at exports only. For example, the last person you interviewed was working for Google in a software-related job. His contribution to Canada's economy is labelled as a service, which has been the fastest-growing sector. Also unemployment rate in Canada is 5% and not 9.

Ppl keep slamming Germany mostly for the language factor. I don't understand why. Germany unlike India is not a multilingual country and Germans do not hold English on a higher pedestal like most anglicized countries. Germany is a nation that is technologically advanced, the ppl there value time more than anyone else. Germans are not that "Hi" "Hello" types like Americans and its perfectly fine. Its their culture. And Germany does give PR but not that easily to everyone coz the country is very small in area and in future will not be able to accomodate a non stop inflow of ppl from around the world. That's not the case with Canada. I have my fellow Indian friends living in Germany and they've had the best experience overall for years now. They learned German btw coz 'when in Rome, be like a Roman'. If you expect Germans to speak your language, its a naive thought.

Regarding currency conversation, when you send money to India from any country that depends on how much you can save there. And this is a standard that, you will be able to save more or less the same everywhere, except in some high-paying countries like Australia, where you can earn and save more.
