He explains possible lines which not all of the audience can see. Also as the game going there's little time to explain lines. I find this method better than engine, engine cannot predict a game all the time sometimes it's positional play.

Bad question, if that was the case i could simply hover over a lichess analysis. In this way, we are actively calculating and along with the commentary we get a hang of the position. Agadmator too doesn't show an engine, for instance. Playing the blame game is not in your favor.
