I can believe soft tip is international! I thought soft tip was only USA based!! Darts that don't stick count and no double bull!! Hopefully steel tip will never lose out to soft tip!!

Steel tip is boring! Shooting at the triple 20 all day may seem exciting to you but in the US and most of Asia Cricket is the game of choice! There is no doubt 501 on a steel tip board is much more difficult than on an electronic. But electronics have more games allowing for casual play and generating money.

Your talking apples and oranges. Soft tip is for arcades and play for money. Steel tip can not do that. Also the average player can not play cricket on a steel tip bords very well nor 501. I doubt soft tip will replace steel tip as the premier championship but as far as total player count soft tip has steel tip beat by a long shot already! I hope that cricket replaces 501 though. It is much more challenging and fun to play!

Talk about hot and cold…. That was bad there at the end for the USA team. They seemed to lose focus.

the US team, besides Gates, was woefully amateurish. How do you not even know your partner did not get in? The skinny white guy and the heavy set guy were awfully inconsistent. Was this the best the US could put forward?

I was wondering the same thing, however, Chris Lim is actually a phenomenal player, idk what happened with that slip up. On the other hand, I have no idea how the teams were picked, with the likes of Baggish, Van Dongen, Millar, Maloney, etc etc.. the USA definitely had more options.
