No the ielts is not mandatory although you have to show them your language proficiency it can be either of ielts or Goethe (English or German proficiency)

4 euro cooking oil, 2-3 euro bread, 2 euro eggs, rent monthly 300-400 euros in Frankfurt, 150-170 euro for maintenance, gas and electricity charges monthly, 110 euro medical insurance monthly, 70 euros bus transportation till university monthly, 250 euros monthly on food. Sending jeans, t-shirts, jackets every 3 months. My child went to Germany, but he wants to leave Germany. Quite expansive and no jobs. He want to go to the UK to his uncle.
