Germination Time Lapse - Cranberry Hibiscus Seed

I had some fun and set up my camera in our kitchen to catch a seed after I woke up to find one that had just sprouted overnight. The entire footage was four hours and forty minutes long. After a few runs through my editor, I was able to get it down to less than a minute. Enjoy!

How long did it take for your cranberries to germinate and start sprouting?

It only took about 3 or 4 days for the germination to start. Keep in mind though these are cranberry hibiscus plants and not the cranberries that you eat like berries (these hibiscus leaves are in fact edible though for salads)

I just got these seeds did you soak then or just plant them directly in soil.

I just put them directly into the soil and they took off just fine.
