Although a great design the addition of gyro control wave following twin hull patented tech will allow low speed foul weather performance and lower torp ,mono hull high speed calm weather travel. An optimal design.

That is clever. Using catamaran hulls, you can go on foil earlier and from a lower speed.

Yes, but all the drag from the torpedo-hull will prevent it from reaching similar efficiency and speeds as a pure hydrofoil (like the Candela P-12).

@@jimj2683 Probably. However, putting the engine/powertrain in the torpedo-hull dramatically simplifies production (and possibly interchangeability) of multiple powersystems. A lot will depend on the operating speed. a pure hydrofol would be much much more effcient at very high speeds. At lower speeds, the differenctial may not be as great. It is an interesting concept.

yes we have created a small prototype of 4.2 meters for proof of concept, now we are building a second prototype of 8.4 meters, which will be able to carry up to 8 passengers

We’ll see Mr Professor. Can you tell us how did you calculate drag? And about complexity… do you know how is complex a jet engine on which you rely every time your plane is taking off?
