Gerties Golf Society Keshcarrigan Co Leitrim 2022

In May 2022 I caught up with some members of the Gerties Golf Society early in the morning, before they all headed off for a day's golf at Roscommon Golf Club. At the time breakfast was cooking, and everyone was looking forward to what the day had in store. I chatted with Des Foley proprietor of Gerties Bar and Restaurant not forgetting Golf Society, he spoke to me about the great help the club received from a man who lives locally in the area George McGann. I also chatted with Barry Flynn the current Golf Society President and Captain Niall Foley, others on the day I spoke to included Joe Wrynne, Eoin Meehan, Chris O' Rourke, and Declan Beirne.
