First time Amature fights are more important than professional fights. Loma 11 and 1 pro. / Davis 19 and 0 pro. fights. Are they saying that Amature fighters are better than pro fighters? Obviously, a 19 and 0 pro fighter should not duck an 11 and 1 pro. fighter. But then again, according to the Mayweathers logic, the Amature circuit holds more weight than the pro circuit. Yeah Floyd is great because he's 50 and 0. Smoke and mirrors. The opponents' records against Loma and Mayweather for thier first 13 fights. Floyd is a great fighter but we know how he got that 50 and 0 record. First fight against another fighter debuting. 4th fight another fighter debuting. Second fight guy had a record of 1 and 1. Loma may have lost to Salido in his second fight but perfect record means shit when you compare context and what he can do too. He learned quickly what the pro game really was about. Both Floyd and Loma have matrix ability but Lloyd's was counter punch matrix. Loma is all out attack close quarter matrix. A lot easier to fight boring defensive shoulder roll, back off style. If Loma were to use that style with his skills? Look out. Who could beat him. Yeah, Floyd played it smart and he preserved his brain and built his record. Nothing to take away from it. He's fast as hell. But boring as well. Loma wants to protect his brain matrixing it out but also entertain. Give the boxing fans something to get excited about.
