does the length of a track matter? are shorter tracks preferred by algorythm?

No its all what people listen to, the algorithms are just people - do people want to listen to it in full, do they enjoy it enough to share to friends or comment on it and like it. We upload 1min clips pre-release then replace to full versions, we upload dj mixes which are 1-2 hours but sometimes 4-5 hours.

I only have one question regarding Soundcloud. Is the platform good for original content only? If I make a 15-minute of the hottest reggaeton of 2024, will the platform take it down?

I put up a house mix last month with signed tracks and it's still up, so i think it's ok, but don't quote me on that 🤣 I looked into it a bit and found no real answer, so i just thought, give it a try if i get told to take it down then i will. I also made sure to include a track-list so people don't think i'm claiming the tracks as my own work.
