I know several people who do this and some are from less developed country where hourly wage is around 1-2 USD per hour or less and some are running some small business at home with downtime to just direct commanders to new gem nodes from time to time.

@@OmniarchOfficial I wouldn't say that I love the challenge. I live in Vietnam as a foreigner. They don't allow foreigner to open a bank account. They don't have credit card in Vietnam. I have destroyed all my credit card before I left California. So, I don't have another option. Realistically if I still live in the USA. Buying the bundles is less than 15 minutes of work. 10 hours a day and exhausted. I only get roughly 1000 gems a day.😞😞😞

Honestly i feel like barbs are way more efficient gem wise than gem nodes... You get gems like every 5th barb you kill or so from my experience

How to fins gems - each node u farm u save it in record its location, go back to the same location after 1 hour a new node will be at the same place or really nearby. Gem nodes are also available around shrines or altars.

One small tip if you want to gather gems without returning your carrier: use cavs not siege. Since the marching time easily reaches 30% of the time your march is busy (10 min per node - 5 min per walking). Plus - to get you guys an idea of what you can gain by following most of the tips mentioned in the video: according to my yearbook, I spent 935k gems (100 % f2p). What about your gems spent? let's compare to get a better view on the whole picture.

To add on to the tip about Ark of Osiris: if you are F2P, try to find a small, farm alliance or dead academy alliance within the top 20 to do Ark in, specifically if there are a couple high-power T5 players doing it. In my kingdom, I'm a low spender (~40m) and I do Ark with anywhere from 6-10 other people who range from 30m to 90m, but there are only one or two above 60 or 70, rest are between 40-60. This makes it so we go against lineups that are lower MMR and easier for us. We're currently on a 11 win streak lol

As f2p, during offseason I farm tone of rss for war. During kvk I only farm gem nodes lvl3, I log in every hour or so, and just send gatherers. I do it like 5 times a day, so its around 750+ gems. I know its not the best strategy, but works for me xD

That's probably the best way. You don't get exhausted. I used to do 2500 a day in kvk. It burns me out. Now, I take it easy with 500 to 700 gems a day. It seems less but I can do it daily without getting burn out

I would say be online consistent and not 30 minutes because the gather commander travel distance is not the same. It can be 5 to 20 minutes apart.

Note: Gem nodes spawn around the same area and also depends on the zone you are at. The closer you're to the midle of your kingdom the higher chances to get lvl 2 gem nodes

If you are in a somewhat less active kingdom (particularly during down time between KVK), an easy way is to focus on a zone or area of map to kill Ironhand Baular/Miser Kaolak. 30 gems per. I get anywhere from 240-360 gems per spawn. Also another thing to add for the Contstance/Matilda combo is to make sure you set Constance as Supply Captain under commander view. 5% gathering/Load size. I usually that pair across the pass controlled by another alliance then switching back so that they can't return back.

I grinded gems for 2 months as an experiment a while back and yeah, it's definitely not worth it. BTW one method you didn't mention is running barb camps. I found that if you split your marches between zones you could almost permanently run them and it is a LOT less micro management than moving your gem gatherers every 3-5 Min.

If you're grinding it ain't free, believe me. Good tips brother, but if your farming for kvks, and doing forts for alliance. No way can you get 2500 gems every day. 500 a day average would still require you to spend hours finding gem nodes and sending troops there. Which means your not getting RSS for kvk, or participating in forts. I've done it before myself, mainly before migrating. Secondly you split Matilda and Constance other secondaries. From a level 2 node with M&C you will get 25 gems, if you send them separate to 2 nodes they get 3 extra gems each. So you get 6 vs 5, and are rocking 2 marches instead of 1. Plus the 20 initial gems from each node means you get more quicker. It's still painful. Gem farming barbs during events was great until they nerfed it. Edit: wrote this before your final summary. Completely agree.

I only grind during kvk. 30 gem nodes is worth the grind. Each kvk you can grind 25k to 30k gems. I do not farms any rss except gems in kvk. Besides as a f2p you probably max out from fighting by end of zone 6 and rest of time is use to grind. Ya i have 10 farm accounts with 3 farms on gold alone. 😂
