Aww man, don’t let that little ding steer you away from Life boards 🥲 you gotta think, if it was a basic mass produced board, it would’ve taken A LOT more damage! Hope you continue to enjoy it, and the 9 pop though 💪🏼 much love brotha 🤘🏼

Yeah i for sure plan on continuing to ride life! Local brand ran by skaters! Definitely excited to try more of their boards. But definitely plan to swing by the shop next time to see everything they have. I love the pop deck and want another like it

I look at their boards all the time. I want to make a surfskate or downhill board out of one.

I know a couple of people who made/make their boards. Their gnarly dudes and they care about the boards because they skate them too. I definitely recommend trying one. Get in touch with strangercasper on instagram he will be able to give you all info you need and probably be able to help you design a custom one.

There are actually some great threads on Reddit about people making surf skate setups out of our boards! We didn’t intend to make good surf skate boards, just great skateboards. But apparently the unintentional crossover works well.

@@dayswithcasper4144 too many surfskates are too flat and modern shaped boards wheel bases or steep kicks don't fit my surfskate stance. I do have an old Nickey G setup on a surf skate truck I like but a bit more wheelbase would suit me better. I am experimenting between the Nickey, a carver and a very flat Yow along with a blank shape to see if I can figure out what I need to build. For the record, I suck at surfskating but love it. All part of the adventure. I like to skate everything.

@@AdventuresInSkateboardingwhat wheelbase are you looking for? On our website you can change the wheelbase of any board, ask for old school pattern or double drilled truck holes (great idea if you’re in the finding your wheel base stage). And if you’re tired of flat boards, we’ve got you. Our concave is deeep deep.

I like the basic ACE trucks more than the ACE AF1. The weight gives me more control. I have soooo many sets of ACE trucks.

They feel so good on coping and ledges it’s unreal. Great board control and lock in

You have to really ride the bushings as they are. It feels crazy at first but they really adapt to your skating in a short time. But if you tighten them to soon you mess up the process.

I am guessing to much glue, making it thick and heavy.
@dayswithcasper4144 Жыл бұрын
Too much glue on a board is never a problem. Excess glue squeezes out the side of the press. The weight difference of our boards is a tradeoff for strength. But if you’d like to trade off strength for a lighter board, we can make you a 6 ply, or 8 ply if you’re really getting heavy footed.

nah, they probably just use cheaper quality veneers so the individual veneers have to be cut thicker to compensate for the lower grade that is used. that's my guess.

The graphics are basically designed to build the design another way of skateboarding
