Blue was completely uncontested and was swimming in metal at early t1 phase. Blue could have ended the game by 10 min. just by pushing with medium tanks. Blue could have ended the game by 15 min. just by pushing with tigers. Blue team could have ended the game several times with t3 by just issuing move orders to the back line.

That was excruciating to watch. When I started watching BAR casts I loved these long matches but I have come to see that its usually one team having won and then stalling out right before the finish line 10 times.

I actually think the most important thing for mammoths is not having res bots for healing. It's having enough mammoths to form AN IMPENETRABLE WALL! Seriously though, the only things that take them out is 1) long range rockets/pulsars or 2) being flanked. Not much you can do to out heal the first anyway. A wall of 6-8 mammoths can't be flanked by any T1-2 units, and can actually wrap around, outflank and beat thors.

Bots are ever so slightly cheaper which can trim off some fat from a really precise build. As well having rez bots to eat up rocks and buildings can be very useful when the time comes for a T2 transition
