Thanks for this interview. Sorry to hear about how Danny Kaye treated Barbara. Enjoyed Love American Style back in the day.

My pleasure Andy. Yeah, it’s always interesting but also tough to hear about how many actors have been treated at different points in their careers.

Great interview with a cute lady! Shame on Danny Kaye for treating her so rudely.

Thank you. It is a shame what Barbara went through with Danny Kaye but there are a lot of egos in show business unfortunately.

Yes. That makes sense. I don’t recall that episode. I’m thinking Laverne Happy Days. Thanks so much. I really enjoy your interviews. Any shot at getting Barbara Felton from Get Smart. That would be awesome

Another great episode. Barbara is quite a talent. I always thought Love American Style was like The Love Boat without the boat. lol. It has a great theme song too! Not surprised about Danny Kaye. I've heard some adverse things about him. Hey, thanks for sharing!

Glad you enjoyed it! Great line about the Love Boat. Too funny regarding the theme song I have been singing it to myself since I released the episode😂

I’m enjoying your interview as always but confused about the time line. Wasn’t happy days pilot aired on love amercan style. Penny Marshall character Laverne came a few years later. Please straighten me out. Thanks
@ThatsClassicTV5 ай бұрын
@@jamesdamico9284 Hi James, I think what Barbara is referring to is the Love American Style episode Penny Marshall was in called "Love and the Pickup" which aired January 5th, 1970 not when she might have also auditioned later for 😀Laverne and Shirley. Also, The Love American Style episode that was in essence the pilot for Happy Days didn't come out until February 25, 1972. Hope that helps
