To be fair it's not very intuitive. "oh you see that thing that does damage to you, go after it" nothing in the game explains you that the more player the less damage to each one.

I'll admit this is the first time sprout me encountered a stack marker, and I did not know what it meant. Fortunately, no one was a grumpy fucker about it, and I understood what they meant immediately.

This, but with the no-look stackmarker that shows up in Dun Scaith, which is where I think a majority of people will encounter it. What makes that one worse is I know for a fact that people have seen the stackmarker before, so how people can't put 2 and 2 together and not run with the thing that looks like a stackmarker is... actually beyond me.

It's a stack up marker, it'll spread the damage to everybody inside it.

It helps when you know what the names of each of the glowies are. This one's all in the title- stack marker. Someone gets marked and you stack up. But you basically got it. :D

be careful of the other stack marker though where you ACTUALLY have to get away from other people, or you get EVEN MORE DAMAGE. This will appear HW onwards

@@danutercisd2016 that specific one has a red arrow pointing to you. And that's the opposite of stacking, you get away from people, usually the aoe isn't super big, but it's usually big enough to mess people up if you're close to them. It's all a learning experience.

@@liljon042 I think he meant cases when you have two stack markers at once... in which case people have the clever idea of being efficient and stacking both at once and then the whole raid dies :D
