Hare Krishna Prabhuji My question is: If one takes oath on a serious subject matter to control the 5 vikaras (ie kaam, krodh,moh,lobh,ahamkar) the most prominent one is kaam but subsequent fails due to the forces of material nature and again failed ie failed 3 to 4 times but the intensity to do such things reduced, then will it be regarded as sin.In this context I want to ask that does really oath means something or it is simply a myth to control oneself.If it is asin,then how to overcome the harsh consequences of breaking the oath. Please answer prabhuji, i will be very grateful to you.
