Great Video Mark! I think one of the HUGE advantages of this device is the ability to monitor audio wirelessly with something like airpods. This is a big upgrade for us shooters on the a6400+ platform who don't have a audio out.

like it so much, wanna try it soon 😋 can i ask something? i have a little problem on my zve10. hope u give me some advice (again) lol. when i put type-c cable from my PC to my zve10 , i heard a noise (sounds like bad circuit in it) coming from my headphone monitoring. everytime i put the cable, there's noise. even i just charging my zve10 or i do streaming, it has noise (very very loud noise) in my monitoring headphone. u know why? thank u.

Not sure - but it sounds like a ground loop. Might be a frequency in you work area.

I was thinking about getting one of those sketchy 20 dollar usb-c capture devices to use on the android, this looks basically like that with added Sony battery support. So if they have this as an android device I might just pick it up (provided it's not an unreasonable price)

This is pretty cool, seems perfect for the ticktock crowd. If they want to record straight to the camera roll in 1080p or even go live on Tiktok. Content creation for phones doesn't need 4k anyway. (see youtube stats on how many users actually use 4k on a phone, it's very small)

This would be such a clearly attractive option if the Monitor+ app didn't exist for $20. Recording directly to phone is great but the touch focus and controls of Monitor+ is just more useful. Getting an old Android tablet just to use the app wired lol. Have a feeling the 2nd generation of this will improve on a lot of the quirks (not being able to charge, etc.)

I'm hoping for 4k and 10-bit recording too. But remember - it's not android - this one is apple only. Also, you don't have recording or streaming with the Monitor + app. And you don't get to record higher quality 1080 - Those are pretty big deals.

Monitor+ is laggy. Very slow just like the Sony remote app (imaging edge)

It’s a bummer Monitor+ is only available wired for Android (such a perk for gimbal work having touch focus, etc.) and is too laggy on the non-5GHz cameras for iPhone (but is generally fantastic with the IV). It’s nice to have options now.

@@luenicluke it's not laggy if you use wired connection. It works exactly like a PC connection. Wireless is laggy and it just cuts off sometimes.

I was looking at this actually! Mostly interested in the live stream function. The iPhone can already live stream without this device. Is the point here that it uses your camera as the image source instead of the crappy iPhone camera to live stream? So super bokeh-licious live streams? That "model bit", in the video killed me BTW. That model is gorgeous. Yes, the benefit is that you can use you fancy camera and lens for streaming. The iPhone (with the accsoon) will stream the image and audio directly from the camera. Bokeh city

This is awesome, but overkill for my needs… I am in the market for a 5-7” monitor (recording not needed). Is the PORTKEYS PT5 II you mention in the video the best option? I was also looking at the FeelWorld F5 5.0". Just need 1920x1080@60fps (4k in would be amazing), and all the fancy stuff for making sure I’m not blurry, peaking, etc. basically a fancy mirror to look at my mug as my camera sees me. 😂

I think the link to the Android version is wrong, however I think I found it. And just to get it right: if I don't want to have a monitor, just to hook up my Sony ZV-1 to my phone (which is not a Sony Xperia that natively does it) I would still need some capture device, right? So this Accsoon device (the Android model) would solve both issues?

Thanks - I’ll try to find a better link. Check out monitor +. It’s a way to use your phone with a Sony ZV1. It’s $20 and it works well, but it’s over wifi monitorplus.cc/ But to be clear - if you’re just trying to connect your phone to the camera - Sony has an app to connect your phone to the ZV1 for free. It’s their clear image app

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis No, connecting them is clear. Connecting and streaming via the phone might be a use case. But less bulky, however the this may solve mounting, the app and even charging. So with alternatives I may end up in a more complicated setup

Because you can’t stream your camera from your phone. If you want to use your fancy cameras and fancy lenses - you need something like this or another device. A lot of people want a more professional setup for streaming

It's too bad you need a separate external battery - with the iPhone/iPad seemingly doing the display work it is hard to understand how this interface couldn't have been powered off of a smaller AA battery or even rechargeable internal....
