1. Don't play tanks that only unicums can do well in 2. Put the right equipment on the tank 3. Take the right consumable and ammo loadout 4. Have at least a 6 skill crew 5. Know where you should go on every map for the tank or tank class you are in 6. Don't rely on auto-aim 7. Don't die in the first 3 minutes IMO these 7 steps will make you better than 99.9999999% of players

I already do most of these currently so im i guess better than 99.9999% since i have to carry more than 80% of the games i play anyway. My wn8 over 400 recent games is over 2700, i may own overpowered tanks at tier 10, 9 and 8 that i do quite well in Almost 2 marked my T95/FV4201 I dont play that tank often, its just becuase i want to get revenge when im tilted

If you are unlucky, with the wrong tank on the wrong map with the wrong team in the wrong position, it does not matter how good you are.

Well done. I've given up trying to improve. WG just keeps finding new ways to stop players enjoying the the game. L haven't used Consumables for over a year now. I do like the strv at Tier 6, it's fun to play.

Agreed. +2/-2 where you are bottom tier just saps the enjoyment of the game. I refuse to use gold ammo, and anyone that does should just quit the game.

Hey Eclipse. You trying to talk strategy to the guys who play this game? That is commendable, but: - Some guys in tier 10 games still don't understand how to use the targeting lock on feature; - They don't know what the big white circle means in objective based matches; - They are colorblind and do not know what the red dots mean; - They do not know that there is a setting to help them in the event that they unfortunately have this disability; - They are unaware that WOT is a team game; - They don't know what a team is; and most unfortunately of all these effing morons are always placed on my, ahh, team. Great video. I've been playing for a month and I'm getting decent at the game. Blind firing in a quickly reloading TD is overpowered. I just started down the American TD line and I was playing tier IV. I think the opponents were newer but they had 3 TDs on the opposite side of the map as me and I shot at their tracers. I got hit after hit and they weren't moving until I took away most of their life. I took 2 of them out in the middle of killing bots who were spotted. The 3rd when he was spotted, I had left him with less then 100 hp and I never saw one of them. Lol

I’m currently trying to 3 mark the LT 432 and the T92, they both sit at 91% at the moment. I rely on the Tier 10 games for the assisted damage to keep my marks up.

I just started playing. Love your information. Question. How do you get crew members? I have a crew chief but nothing else.

They do need to add an equipment spot or make the red outline permanent but not equipment and they either need to start adding crew members like gunner, driver etc. or gives us back our slots on commander’s period one reason I don’t play as much is because of what they did to the commanders and making the red out line actually a piece of equipment

Quot bitchin the new commander system is pretty good and you still get your 3 equipment slots in gives you the option for the 4th by removing the outline

I learned to turn around. I try to fall back if I can if I'm outmatched. I've been playing a lot of autoloaders my win8 went up from 400 to 950 in the last month so there's that.

You seem to have learned something 90% of players with 000's of games haven't yet, when to fall back, also if you can read the mini map it puts you over most players!!!

I dont understand why we cant store one set of equipment as spare to save silver? I have over 200 tanks and i play over 50% of them so this would really help. A set of 3 equipment items would be just fine Great video like always! Keep it up 👍

Eclipse. Question. I just got the derp gun on the tier 10 Sheridan. How should I equip this to take advantage of this gun? Any help would be appreciated.

Dave, I have that and the gun has poor accuracy, aim time and penetration. You can use gun stabilizer and gun laying drive to improve those things but a lot of your shots will not go through unless you put the tank in the right position to get flanking shots and rear shots. I tend to go with camo, loader, vents and gun stabilizer (yes, I ditch the enhanced target info). 9 skill commander with light tank buffs to improve accuracy and camo (camo, sixth sense, born leader, loader, muffled shot, snap shot, steady aim, situational awareness, run n gun) Sheridan is hard work at Tier X in WW2, early game fight at distance, spot, get flank shots - mid to late game, go after isolated tanks on low health and give em the derp shell in the butt!!

Congratulations! You have stumbled upon what I consider the best KZbin channel for WoT console! I suggest that you do subscribe, and take advantage of this excellent resource for all sorts of aspects of the game! Eclipse is a Super Unicum in the game, but his videos are all geared towards helping players play better, as opposed to so many other content creators, who seem to post vids primarily as a way of bragging or showing off their skills. The thing that I enjoy most about Eclipse is his humble, yet helpful, manner. He's not here to brag; he's here to help us improve our own individual gameplay, which ultimately makes the game better and more enjoyable for everyone! He's not condescending or insulting toward newer players, either, which unfortunately, many others are! And, unlike most other content creators, Eclipse posts a new video very nearly every single day! Sometimes the video centers around the "little things" that we can do which will help us have better games. Sometimes he'll post a vid highlighting common mistakes to avoid. He posts vids reviewing good positions to take on various maps and/or with different tanks. And he also posts vids with news, updates, and upcoming events which many of us wouldn't be aware of otherwise! Eclipse was not the first content creator in WoT console that I ever viewed, and I do check out vids from a couple others, as well. But I can say without a doubt that I have learned more from Eclipse than I have from *all* other content creators combined! And, as if that weren't enough, he also has a rather extensive archive of previously posted videos which you can go back and watch or re-watch anytime... an extremely helpful resource in itself! It's up to you, of course, whether or not you decide to subscribe to Eclipse's channel. But I would certainly recommend doing so! It seems at times that if I'm unable to carry the game I will lose. As I'm terrible with light tanks I can almost guarantee that those games I play lights are losses. I don't understand how this works as I have 14 other players on my team. It seems to me that at a certain point players are considered experienced and will get majority bottom tier games . Am I the only one that this happens to? As for being bottom tier if for example I play my t34 which has a decent turret and good alpha for it's tier those benefits are completely negated by tier 10s that fire gold straight through the turret and reload faster and usually with higher alpha. Being bottom tier is ok but I don't want to be tryharding every game.

Oh gotta love when the match making starts really hurting you when you are at tier 8 especially. Oh your stock or have a tank that doesn’t work well against tier 10’s? Well guess what, we’ll be putting you in nothing but tier 10 matches, have fun!

@@shadowxhero4953 my routine is 2 bottom tier followed by a mid tier and either then maybe top tier. The same thing every day with only slight variations and if I have to restart or have to stop and restart later it all starts again. Lol. Iv noticed the same thing in legends , I played 4 games in a tier4 I was all bottom tier, decided to try a couple games at tier 5 all bottom tier and same at 6. I played7 games this morning all bottom tier 🙄 I'm sure at this point someone at wg is laughing his ass off

@@shadowxhero4953 Well iv resorted to tricking the mm. I play 3 games in a tier 5 which are usually 2xbottom,1xmid then I play my t34 at top tier. It worked twice yesterday and its allowing me to get marks on tier5 German heavies aswell.

Cloraform, I don't play near as much as I once did but, there used to be a mechanic in the matchmaker that would not allow you to be bottom tier 3 matches in a row in the same tank. The issue is, most people die, go back to the garage, then play a different tank, and the bottom-tier cycle of frustration never stops. Obviously, this is pretty easy to try out. Maybe it still works. Also, once upon a time, light tanks had +/-3 matchmaking, so it could be a LOT worse lol Best of Luck!

Flanking! tier 10 gamers still dont understand that! its crazy. Dont go straight forward on the first seconds of the game. Everyone cant go one side. A defense base game, is a defense game. Go defend the base before the other team reach it! When someone is capping go protect the base! Help your fellow tanker.

Funny story here...Lastnight in Cold War, I was using the FV4211..I kept hearing "ping, ping". I turned and seen an armadillo. He must of been a newer player because he was sideways, and not moving around. I thought "awe that's cute!..lol". So to make him feel good, I swung my back end around so he could try to pen at least 1 hit so he would feel good about his efforts 😂. He still didn't move after I fired, so I had to dispatch him with extreme prejudice..😁😂

But the elephant in the room is being bottom tier 99.9 percent of the time with a bunch of potatoes that don't know how to use the map or play the game. Suicide lights who die before players have finished loading. Heavys who base camp. Lemming trains going the opposite way to the flag cap Mediums trying to side scrape and Hull down against Heavies. And heavily armoured heavies snailing out in the open getting smacked up by arty. None of these will aid you in your quest for XP and victories 🤣
