We can't really do that so much here (unless you want a gator?) and inshore here? My record is a 40" snook at 24lb - that is a MONSTER!!! The ONLY fish I've caught bigger than that was offshore, and I sure didn't grab either with my hands! That's a GORGEOUS blue!

I reckon you did pretty good for your first time. I won't even touch a catfish to take it off the hook cause of the stingers. I let my husband do that. So this would be the ultimate face your fear extreme DALE NO challenge for me. I live in NE GA and we got blue catfish as big as small cars in the bottom of Lake Lanier.
