What a fabulous song!!!.While living in New York City,I went for vacations to visit my family in Spain.Being at the house of a casual friend over there, somehow, this forgotten jewl dropped into my hands.A couple of weeks later,I was invited to a T.V. show,to talk about things we miss in our life.I decided to talk about the magical 70`S,and its significance in our pop culture.Since the producers liked my interview very much,so they decided to let me go first in the T.V. show opening, and I came out dancing this "Get Dancing" tune.People at the audience loved this groove & rhytm so much, that they stood up dancing and clapping,as if they were in a party. That was a memorable day in my life, thanks to "Get Dancing"!!!!.

"My chiffon is wet darling my chiffon is wet my wig is wet" I was 11 and I thought this was GREAT..... 🎶 Oh, I wanna hop n loop de loop wanna mop the floor with you 🎶
I was a 80s/90s kid and watched the Simpsons and one episode I saw in 1992 with Hooray For Everything playing on Homer's car radio introduced me to "Get Dancin'", I was 11 at the time and really liked the sound of the song. And then a couple of years later I heard this song on a Sunday night 70s radio show and totally loved it and ultimately loved 70s disco in general, there's something so overly joyful about this song musically and vocally! Nearly 30 years on I still dig this song and I've heard 1000s of 70s and 80s dance grooves, it is so unique and has just the same positive joyful impact on me musically as it did when I first heard it!!! BTW Monty Rock in this video bares a bit of resemblance to New Zealand group Dragon's lead singer Marc Hunter particularly in this clip kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpqZk3WVethpnpI particularly with the eye makeup and the hairdo.
