With the top of key action like at 1:25, what happens is that the guy you're playing against will user switch to the center and try to stop the shooter. Especially if it is Curry or Klay. So what I then do is bait him into to controlling the center and coming out on the perimeter, then I use Full Receiver Control to manually control my own center and run to the hoop for a wide open dunk. This always catches them off guard and gets them on their toes.

I don't use series that much so I'm not sure about that. As for freelance, try pace, spurs 2018, or hawks 2018

When I try to do the first action, instead of curry receiving the screen I get curry setting the screen for whoever's on the opposite wing, why is this? I seem to never get the screen for the ball handler

If you pass to whoever comes out the corner to the wing curry should receive the screen. If you pass it to the guy already standing on the wing curry will set the screen.
