@MiseryHatesCompany title is get free gem resonance but there is no actual free gem resonance but just the change that happened. Hence the "click bait". If the title was Gem Resonance Change then different story.

Wish I could restart my 5* gems now! I put so much gem power into the gem instead of putting it all into the socketed gems

Just saw a video. I think If you have more gem power in the resonance gems you can make your 5* dormant and then re socket the dormant gem. Then you add back in the resonance gems until it’s enough to make it not dormant. And you keep the left over gem power
